Die LP hab ich ... damals gekauft im Konzert von Klaus Wunderlich. Super gespielt! Und ich habe jahrzehntelang das Lied grob in diesem Stil gespielt, bis ich mal das Original von „Smoke Gets in Your Eyes“ gehört habe... es ist ja viel langsamer und langweiliger 😀
Ja, der Klaus hatte diesen einmalig frischen, aggressiven Stil in allen jazzy Melodien. Dabei sehe ich ihn innerlich diese kontrastreichen Klaenge zu geniessen. Das war ja seine Staerke. Du hast das richtig beobachtet und daher gelingt so dir gut ihm das nachzumachen. Haette ich deine Spielfertigkeit wuerde ich das auch erstreben, denn nur so kannst du deine Kunst wirklich steigern. KW hat sich nunmal als "der Groesste" erwiesen u. Organisten, die ihn beneiden u. verschmaehen betruegen sich selbt.

I know Klaus Wunderlich's original version (attended the concert, bought the record as a teen) and yours I soo close to it. Great! The piano in the background is a multitrack also played by you, or automatic accompaniment?
Wie bekommt man so einen Sound aus der Orgel? Ich habe eine T200 und eine E112 und bekomme da nie solch einen tollen Klang heraus. So wie Du möchte ich auch mal spielen können. Wie lange spielst Du schon? Gruß. Peter
wenn Du deine T200 ohne Leslie spielst und deinen Vibrato III plus celeste 2 mit Percussion und deine Zugriegel auf die gewünschte Stelle bringst klingt das so und ich lernte fünf Jahre Akkordeon und dann noch ca. ein halbes Jahr elektr. Orgel das war 1976 den Rest autodidaktisch, dazu mit drei Schallplatten von Klaus Wunderlich meinem grossen Vorbild und ich glaube sogar Freund sowie eine gewisse Grundvoraussetzung die man Talent, Interesse, eine Sucht nicht nach Alkohol, sondern nach Hammond und ein bisschen Verrücktheit, mit 50 Jahren noch 20 bleiben und ÜBEN ; Gruss Konrad Ich danke Dir für dein Kompliment;
Ja, das klingt nach GUTEM SPIELEN. Nicht wie bei Florian Hutter (habe jetzt gerade auch ein Swing Medley von ihm gehört). Der ist auch sehr gut, aber der packt bei jedem Lied soviel rein das die Melodiestimme total „zerhackt“ wird. Also man muss nicht nur die Technik beherrschen sondern sie auch passend einsetzen. Bravo, gut gemacht!
Es geht ja um die geschmackliche Seite und dass ja bei den Aufnahmen von KW die Drums halt anders klangen. Ich weiß ja nicht, ob Dein Ketron bereits Audio Drum Loops hat, aber das wäre vielleicht etwas, was dem frühen Klaus Wunderlich Sound näher käme. Ansonsten sind ja Deine Stücke alle sehr authentisch, dem KW-Klang extrem ähnlich und nur deshalb fällt es mir auf, wenn dann ein einziges Detail von dem abweicht, wie ich es kenne. Bei anderen Stücken käme man auch bei genauem Hinhören nicht auf die Idee, dass es nicht von Klaus Wunderlich wäre.

Damit ist auch die Frage nach dem Keyboard beantwortet. Allerdings knallen die Drums dort ein bisschen sehr und integrieren sich nicht so richtig.
Das liegt wohl eher, dass ich nicht fähig bin die Playbacks richtig zu programmieren (haha) das wird es sein
