Policies and procedures are meant to tell you what the company allows you to do and not do, what is legal, what is ethical and so on. They are also meant to tell you how a particular job must be done which has nothing to do with anyone's background, culture, race, and so on; therefore requirements and qualifications are posted for everyone to read and know whether or not they qualify for a certain position. I believe it is the culture within the organization that allows for diversity and inclusion. Employees, not just employers have to take responsibility individually as well.
