I've always wondered how ingesting one simple substance could make me take a dump in a cop car. Thank you.
Nice name too.
i’ve never laughed so hard at a comment 😂🤣
You were thinking clearly ebout nothing hahahha
"one simple substance" I know they call it substance abuse but it is indeed a mixture. lol
Holy shit really?
Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I started drinking alcohol since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting Cigarettes and alcohol addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
Hey! Yes Dr.alishrooms
I'm really happy for you that your mom decided to help you...I hear about alot of family members or so called friends shutting an addict out of their life, which since most addicts do it to mask emotions to me is the worse thing someone can do to an addict.
How do I reach out to him? Is he on insta
I'm 15 months free of alcohol. This video made so much sense. "Thinking clearly about nothing" was so on point. Thank you for making these videos!
i take it you’re 20 months clean now? good job bro!!
I wish to get there
im not addicted but want to quit for a month because i do very dumb shit while drunk and its embarrassing also want to workout and get a goal in life
@@I.Love.Porros go for a run
@@I.Love.Porros I was in the same position as you, not an alcoholic but drank way too much at parties for example, always ended up with me doing something stupid or embarrassing. Unfortunately I burnt some bridges that way and came to the realization that I should quit drinking. I have now been sober 6 months, I still go out but I drink non-alcoholic beverages instead. It has honestly been really relieving not having to drink and better yet, not facing a hangover the day after. I don’t like to preach about my personal feelings or choices but I do think it’s worth quitting for a month or two if you feel things are getting out of hand. If you do not feel an improvement in your life at least abstinence is an exercise in self control.
I swear to drunk Im not God
+Rick Dubz What seems to be the officer, problem?
You fooled me but it's because I'm drunk not
So not high am I.
You're giving ticket a me for drunking and driving?
oh my dog!
The most drunk I’ve ever been was when I was 15. I stole a whole bottle of Rum from my parents liquor cabinet and started drinking one day when I was home alone. After about 5 shots I had to start drinking OJ with it because it tastes horrible. I took so many shots because I wanted to feel drunk, but it never occurred to me that it would take time for it to happen. So after about 10 shots or so I started to feel a little woozy and fuzzy so I stopped drinking, hid the bottle, and masked the smell of everything and got everything back to normal before I got too wild. About 15 minutes later I was hammered. Good thing I had started a voice recording on my phone before I went out of it so now I have a few hours of complete none sense on voice recording. The hard drunk ness lasted about 8 hours. I slept for about 3 of those hours. Then my parents came home and the whole family went out to eat. By then i wasn’t nearly as drunk, but I had bad hiccups and was still a little fuzzy in the head. So when we went out I was still saying a few weird things and laughing a little bit excessively. But I didn’t get caught, and the rest of that bottle of alcohol is still hidden in my room today, 6 years later
that’s crazy man, only 15 nd drink a good bit but imma keep this in mind to help myself, all love❤
imagine his parents read the comments and recognize that scene
@@Endermanch holy shit its enderman
You didn't mention how alcohol helps you get over your girlfriend breaking up with you without saying a word to you afterwards.
Same
+Tyler H know dat feel
+Tyler H thats why humanity is where it is now. The lacking ability to accept reality head on is the very cause of aggression, psychotic illnesses etc. in the world. It does not mean alcohol can't be used in moderate quantities, seldom, but the problem is that world uses it as an escape mechanism from reality.
same here LOL .. I love my liquor :D
+Tyler H weed is better and your liver will thank you if you make the switch. I just personally can't drink alcohol because the taste is so atrocious
Why do we like music so much.
+James Logan because music is the decoration of time :)
+irayea haha i would like asap science to do a vid on music and what it does to the brain
When we listen to music that we like it releases dopamine.
the serotonin my brosky
Brainwash dope
That explains why my dad is never coming back.
plane15man felt that
Hahaha HI5
:( don’t say that! I’ve had my dad on DRUGS!
Gaming With Leffe G alcohol is a drug as much as anything else and kills millions a year, drug addictions bad but there are some good and helpful drugs out there such as weed and LSD. If you don’t mind me asking what drugs did you’re dad do?
@@jackhibberd4660 So the drugs that you like are ok?
During my normal life I'm a socially anxious and depressed person. When I'm under the influence of alcohol I feel much better. I get the feeling of "this is how life should be." I feel very little anxiety and don't feel depressed.
Youre an alcoholic, thats why youre depressed when not drinking
Do you regret drinking alchol?
So it basically turns you into a politician? Thinking clearly about nothing....
In reality it turns you into gopnik :D
Hahahahahaha
The Reward Master that’s hilarious
Sure. But if you drink too much you can wake up in the hospital not remembering anything at all. Cheers 🍺
I think that's more speaking clearly about nothing
I'ts okay drunk, I'm not officer
Well, at least not as think as you drunk i am.
Well, you caught up to me, so why were _YOU_ speeding?
i am the only one? sometimes when i get drunk with my friends we start to discuss about science and universe and our meaning in life and politics....and when we are awake we just talk about girls/booty/etc...
+Daxxie GFX (Gaming) Lol
lmao same here.

Exactly, I've had some very deep conversations while drunk actually so I'm not sure about this video.
Only when I'm high
It also releases endorphins, which is incredibly important to mention. Which causes pain relief, as well as adding to the addictive qualities. It can also push other opioids out of the body, increasing the rate of opioid withdrawal.
This is actually so interesting. I've long wondered how a simple drink and do so much to you. Really, being the right level of drunk is the BEST. It's not turning you into a different person, it's you being what you would be like without all those pesky social inhibitions, if just for a night. And most people are great to be around drunk :P
Alcohol and weed have opposite effects. I did them both simultaneously once and I swear there was a 5 minute lag between my actions and my perception of them. Sooo much fun 😂
I drink like 15 year and smoke weed like 10 year everyday this combination + coffe + cigarrets + cocaine etc only good stuff
There's actually more to alcohol than just GABA. When levels are rising, alcohol triggers endorphin release which dulls pain and in turn causes dopamine release, resulting in excitation and reward seeking. In addition, it inhibits NDMA, which is primarily what makes you dizzy/eventually pass out.
+DeformedBear It's unlikely to because it's a very short-lasting. Mostly it can help cause binge drinking.
+DeformedBear More likely to start binge drinking once they've had one or two, since it is self rewarding to have more if you get an endorphin release. That being said, different people get different endorphin releases (based on genetics) and somebody who has a really good time binge drinking could binge more. It's notable that even a sip of alcohol can actually cause an endorphin release and it's not totally related to quantity. It's mostly related to how fast alcohol is rising. The release stops once alcohol levels plateau or drop. The effect isn't particularly related to chronic alcoholism (keeping alcohol in your system all the time), as alcoholism is primarily related to mental health (anxiety in particular) and where the GABA effects of alcohol acts the brain. Certain people essentially have a "deeper" penetration of GABA effects in the brain that cause a deeper relaxation effect and is more addictive as an anti-anxiety crutch. Sorry if that was too complicated. tl;dr level of alcohol endorphin release is related to binge drinking, alcohol GABA effect is related to constant alcoholism.
Boomerang Guy the dizziness from alcohol comes from its effect on the inner ear, not from nmda antagonism. It’s effect on making you pass out is from the increase in GABA. All GABA-enhancing drugs do this, which is why they are called tranquilizers such as barbs and benzos. Also, if I’d attribute anything to the pain dulling effect, id say it is from the nmda antagonism causing a state of dissociation.
anyone else watching this drunk?
Me!
te moo !
Lorpo Is fat imma little proud
lmao hi
I laughed so hard because its true
do one for lsd
Funny how didn't mention how harmful alcohol is, like they did in the MDMA video.
Yeah I was wondering when they would mention it
+Pacmanisgaming Alcohol is a lot less harmful than MDMA.
+Stuart Ward How harmful is it, then? It doesn't kill braincells, that's been proven over 20 years ago, your liver regenerates. The only thing it could harm is your stomach.
Pacmanisgaming No, it doesn't kill brain cells. If it did, there would be a whole lot of people just braindead in wheelchairs. It damages nerve cells, but it does *not* *kill* brain cells. That's as much as a lie as most of the stuff said about weed.
Prof. David Nutt claims it's the only drug we know for definite is neurotoxic, and liver disease is about to overtake heart disease as the most common preventable form of death in the UK due to a rise in alcohol use.
Watching this while I'm drunk asf . 😭😭
wtf r u 14

Hi, I'm new to your channel. I was wondering if you could explain why people enjoy being frightened at horror movies? Thanks
Chris Delude its because when youre scared a little amount of endorphins and sometimes dopamine will get you high slightly (p.s.endorphins make you release dopamine)
lol, I can tell you that, it's called norepinephrine, a stimulating hormone that's closely related to and synthesized from dopamine, that's why some people seek adrenaline rushes.
watching this while drunk is honest amazing! really appreciate you making such educational videos :)
Make "Your Brain on DMT"
Or, why not "Your Brain on Datura Stramonium?" That is one hell of a sick plant to ingest I've heard on multiple occasions.

omg I LOVE these videos, one of the best channels on CZcams
I find that having a 1-2 of glasses of wine after I'm done brainstorming and outlining is a great way to transition from the mental state of creating ideas to one more appropriate for writing them down. Or at the very least, to sort of get rid of various anxieties I feel about getting the paper done on time. Now I understand this is the result of opening some GABA channels in my brain. Great video.
I love these videos! Do one about "Your Brain on Drugs: Heroin" or "Your Brain on Drugs: LSD"
This actually makes a lot of sense. I've had hypersensitivity issues in the past and have been overwhelmed by all the sensory input from a crowded place. But, I realized that if I had a couple beers, not enough to get me drunk but sort of tipsy, I found it a lot easier to sort through all the noise. Heck I even got a skill boost from it whenever I played Halo with my friends... xD
so glad I gave this up. one of the best decisions I have ever made. if you are addicted, do what it takes to stop and live.
Michael, you might consider adding a second part to this video about alcohol's metabolite, acetaldehyde, and it's concurrent effects on the body while drinking.
Thanks again for the awesome video!

I'm like really drunk rn, and i just happened to stumble upon this vid. It's actually quiet interesting and the end comment accurately explains what I'm going through rn. "Thinking clearly about nothing" is such a giod way to explain it tbh
I remember once being so drunk that i slowly literally could feel how my conscienses was going away. Like i would feel how my clarity, inhibitions, shyness everything that kept me back was just slowly disapearing. I dont remember that night but people told me about what i did but for some reason i know that it was one of the best social experiences ive ever had. And its not even my wildest alcohol overdose lmao
Your brain on cigarettes :3
As an ex smoker, I'd love to know.
Can they make you really buzzed? They always did to me
Ex-smoker, over 3 years I still miss it! Everyday is a challenge
I feel a slight high. Like my first time smoking weed (which I smoked before cigarettes) which didn't make me feel trippy at all just a little lightheaded and happy.
Mari Kitten that'll be the lack of oxygen going through your blood stream, I'm guessing you 'come down' after about 10 minutes. It's just the Bacci-rush

Oh yeah. This is a good one. By Manu Valladolid8
"Why is it that when we are bored, time feels to go by slow. And fast when we are having fun?"
“Thinking clearly about almost nothing” my mom is an alcoholic and I watched this with my grandma, when that saying came up we both looked at each other and laughed because that’s the most accurate saying.
I wish there were more alcohol videos like this which went into more detail about the bodily harm and symptoms of withdrawal, etc.
Thank you for this video! I'm studying the physiology of psychology at the moment and was having a difficult time understanding the way alcohol affects GABA. This helped by simplifying the process without diluting it!
Most people that watch this video are too drunk (including me)
I m not drunk
im not drunk mostly because im under aged
I'm not drunk and of age lol

i am drunk as shit on gin and vodka and i still found this explanation dissatisfying. i am remarkably coherent.
im drunk on vodka as well and felt curious why vodka makes me feel this way and am also very unsatisfied. not sure dissatisfying is a word. lol
oh wait it is a word. just googled it xD
hello friend. considering i am very drunk once again, i am happy to explain how i see it:
- when i don't drink enough liquor, i am *unsatisfied*.
- when i accidentally drink cheap liquor, i am *dissatisfied*.
cheers! X _ X
Some say that manualLaborer is still drunk to this day.
I stopped drinking at twenty-years-old when I realised that I physically couldn't control the things came out of my mouth after a few drinks. Like, I wouldn't be traditionally drunk; I could think clearly, I knew exactly what was going on around me, but I'd lose the barrier that divided the things that were okay to say and the things that weren't.
For example: every year around christmas time we'd have this party at my aunt's. This particular year my younger cousin had invited her new boyfriend. He was quite a shy kid. He'd barely spoken to anyone all night until eventually he started engaging in small talk with my mother. (Thinking about it, my cousin had probably told him that her aunt (my mother) was lovely, and so she was the only person in my insane family that he felt comfortable speaking with.)
I thought nothing of it until I heard him mention that he wanted to dance with her, or something along those lines. As soon as those words left his mouth I was ready to kill him. In my head he was either ridiculing her, or flirting with her whilst sat next to me in order to provoke me. "Who the fuck does he think he is?"
I patted him on the shoulder, stared him blankly in the eye and said in the most aggressive way possible: "that's my actual fucking mother, you know?" Luckily, he laughed it off in desperation hoping that it was some kind of joke that he'd missed. I smiled to reassure him that that was the case, as the second I'd said it and witnessed his reaction, I understood how out of order I'd been. I was terrified that alcohol had caused that moment of skewed vision and absolute loss of control.
I'm the least confrontational person in the world. I go out of my way to avoid confrontations, yet there I was ready to tear this lad's head off for what was probably nothing. He could have been a cunt, but there's no way I could have known for sure from just that one thing he'd said. I'm still embarrassed about it now, a year later. Haven't drank since.
***** ur comment is TL;DR
Hahaha. That's a pretty funny story. I stopped drinking to get drunk last year. I ended up getting plastered and bashing in my little brothers door open. the door trim was realky damaged. I figured that i can live a life without getting drunk after that.
well, at least it was over something relatively 'minor' then relizing how powerful and destructive alcohol can be then say drink driving or assaulting a police officer or something and then relizing
At least u didn’t lose full control and just whack the kid or something. Lmaooo
The funny thing with me and alcohol is I just love the world and people so much more while on it. I have a fairly dark outlook on life typically while sober, so maybe alcohol makes me think less about that and more about the simplicity of life. And does so with more clarity. Solid video, much appreciated.
I SUPER LOVE THIS CHANNEL AND ALL ITS VIDEOS!!!!

Try empathogens (MDMA, 4-MMC, 5-APB) and then try to socialize.
These videos are always fun at the beginning and then I zone out ...........
good video, am usually able to remember certain things very clearly when am getting drunk, like actors name or book titles or phone numbers something i cant normally do when totally sober.
Fuck alcohol. Straight edge for life!
Why do so many people have the perception of the word "drug" implying that it's a bad thing. Most medicines are drugs, the best medicine of all is a drug ffs (Weed).
weed is so fucking awesome
"the war on drugs" by our former presidents has made drugs public enmey #1. This has other implications like the rise of our prison nation, which disproportionately targets minorities.

Can you please explain what happens to the brain if you drink alcohol AND smoke marijuana?
Your body tends to deal with alcohol (basically a toxin used to kill other lifeforms) first. Theoretically your "high" may last longer.
However, the more factors are in play, the less you can predict the outcome.
Let's just say that a friend of a friend of mine knows that you think less clearly about nothing. ;)
I'm fine with all yall weed smokers hyping it up. I love it too. But don't shit on alcohol! They're just different. They don't need to be a competition
Yea, that pothead seems to see the effects of alcohol as all bad.
Hell, he didn't even say that alcohol makes you more sociable (is part of inhibition) and about how the effects on you feel with alcohol depends on your current mental state.
... It's a shame his series doesn't cover the rest of the body, because consumption of alcohol in moderation does great things... And the type of alcohollic beverage drunk is also a factor.
All pot smokers are biased towards pot. I know many people who are addicted to weed. And some started on weed and now do cocaine.
+ootie extreme I know alot more alcoholics that now do cocaine as well. I don't see the point you are trying to make.
Setha My point is is that when pot smokers say "It is not addictive" or "It is not a gateway at all" are wrong. It is usually only a gateway though when you smoke it with shady people who do more heavy drugs. The gateway is usually the people you smoke it with, not the drug its self. But when people say "It is not addictive" seem to be wrong.
+ootie extreme Its not addictive. Never see too much pot withdraw
This makes sense in light of friends telling me that whatever mood I was in before getting drunk would be my mood after getting drunk but WAY more intense.
amazing quality videos
I'm only on this video because I'm tipsy and wanted to know what actually happens to me every time I go beyond my current state. I think I should continue drinking until I've reached the state, which is being discussed in the video...
lmao there is no going beyond your current state on alcohol. You can only do that with psychedelic drugs like LSD, Shrooms, DMT etc or if you smoke lots of weed. But alcohol isn't a psychedelic it just gets you drunk. Sorry :/
What goes on when someone has an absence seizure
Fascinating!!!
I love you guys.
How does alcohol damage your liver?
Real bad man.
It basically is a toxin. One of your livers jobs is to filter toxins and break them down for digestion. Obviously this is a very stressful job, which is why the liver has relatively extreme recovery properties (you can basically cut out half of it and it will grow back).
However, excessive amounts and/or over long periods of time are too much for the liver.
Simply imagine hurting your skin. Rubbing it does little to nothing. Rubbing it consistently nonstop causes injury and it can't heal. Also causing a wound and causing the same wound on the same spot before it completely healed will accumulate the damage. At one point it can never heal 100% ever again. (Scars on your skin look cool. Scars on your internal organs are bad news.)
The same principle basically applies to all organs. But because the liver deals with toxins, it's a strong indicator for substance abuse.
So drink responsibly. If you learn how to pay attention to your body and you will learn when and how much of fun you can handle. :)
In a lot of ways dude
Cody B Actually it's fermentation, and not "rot".
i loveee ui guys
i love me too
No wonder I love it so much
I remembered this video while drunk (right now) and looked it up... and frankly.... yeah. I can see that.
out of every substance, alcohol has to be the one that is legal. I hate the feeling of being drunk.
But I love how some criticize others who prefer marijuana while they drink a beer, or any other drug for that matter (unless you're using a syringe or smoking an amphetamine).
Drunk n watching lmao
😢
It never gets old
Do a video on LSD, i'm very curious on how its works with the brain, also do comparisons with research chemicals like 25i 25c and stuff
I really love seeing everyone in the comments drinking together and having a good time. I got drunk just to watch this 2 minute video
That might be one of the reason why extremely bright people tend to drink more alcohol.
i'm pretty sure a lot of people just drink a lot of alcohol..
I know a bunch of alcoholics that are retards
First, saying bright people drink a lot doesn't have any correlation with retards. As Kevin said it, lots of people drink a lot.
Statistically speaking bright people then to gather around a cultural hotspot and share their intellect (creating groups - a common human practice... find someone that is similar to you and hang with them).
Based on my experience, I have seen lots of bright people ingesting huge quantities of alcohol.
What I meant by retards is dumb stupid you get my point. People that are talented are because they work for it and might have been born with it not because of liquor.
Yes, we completely agree. I don't think liquor has any outstanding property to increase or favour intelligence.
Immm watching this vvvvvideo and drinking vine it's funny i'm trying to leran abourt drinking and hoowis work sooo drunk
Gonna use this video for school project thanks
@AsapScience
If there was a way to give your brain more glutamine, would you sober up? Or think sober?
The brain on marijuana + alcohol.
Love how alcohol is a much worse substance for you from a health perspective physiological perspective and physical then Marijuana yet it's the substance that is legal... Smh
Does anyone else get like really happy when they learn about what happens to your brain when drunk? Like it’s so interesting
As I remember I only feel disconection between my consciousness and my body. I feel fear that I no longer control myself.
Probably if I drank more I'd just pass out, but no problem with remembering or feeling and nothing like "think clearly about nothing". I guess all people are just different.
