I love the calm composure with which this servant of the Lord presents himself. This is not anything of his but the Spirit of the Lord upon him. He speaks of Gods’s power with such glory and assurance. Don’nt we all need to know God at this level and trust Him fully?

I'm totally new in my understanding and revelation concerning this kind of lifestyle and relationship with the Lord, and I've been consistently pursuing His face in stillness/quietness for the past year or more, and feel im making zero progress - especially bc my mind continually wanders and i have dificulty going deep in worship - but im NOT giving up bc i believe i will reap in due time. And even though the Lord has made it clear that he will redeem the time I've lost due to distraction, laziness, and ignorance, I'm concerned that I'm way too far behind in the game, so to speak. The world is going to hell and a handbasket and I still haven't made any connection with the Lord on the type of level you're talking about, let alone being used of him and supernatural ways. It's really taking me some faith to believe he will redeem the time! This might sound stupid, but one of my fears is the nation or infrastructure totally collapsing and I still haven't even figured out how to connect with God in deeper ways like this! To say the least, it would be ideal to have a history with God like this BEFORE the crap hits the fan!
Yes, keep going! In 2009, I sought after the Lord by talking to Him, listening to and reading Scripture everyday, and listening to teachings/sermons instead of music. I knew nothing of these teaching back then; I just wanted to know Him. I still struggle with being quiet before Him, so do not let that discourage you. Also, praise Him before you make any petitions, for every prayer in Scripture is preceded by honoring Him.
