Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound used for a variety of purposes and plants happen to fall into one of those varieties in the application of hydrogen peroxide. If you are previously unaware of this and you intend to dispose off the hydrogen peroxide you have after exhausting all its chemical uses, you might want to put that action on hold after reading this. Hydrogen peroxide comes with some garden benefits which you are about to learn of. However, you are aware that when it comes to chemicals, the dosage is paramount. If you apply too much, it could be dangerous, and if you apply less of it, there will be little or no results and so it all falls down to moderate application or required concentration. If you will be using hydrogen peroxide for all its benefits offerings to your plants, then you need to know how much Hydrogen Peroxide for plants is needed.

There are 16 tablespoons in a cup of water. A Gardner tested 24 tablespoon or 1.5 cups of 3% hydrogen peroxide in a gallon of water. He said that was the limit where it would start burning the plants after that concentration. I would highly recommend that you test that on one leaf before you try that concentration.

Thanks for the measurements. Please note that hydrogen peroxide is applied, full strength, to open wounds to clean it. It stings a bit but that shows it’s working. No gloves needed to handle this product.

hydrogen peroxide should not be applied on open wounds. Can hurt tissue and compromise healing. Please check!

I'd rather have mL or the % goal, than spoons or teaspoons..
I'd like the % needed for bugs, for hydroponic reservoirs or for root rot rinsing.

You really need to start using the metric system it's soooooo much easier. Cups and tablespoons for measurement was thrown away last century!!

1/2 cup of 3% h2o2 to a gallon of water. Way to long and wordy for one sentence. Stay away from 35% H2O2 , it is way to strong for the average person to play with.

1/2 cup = 142 ml. 1 gallon = 4.55 L. These are approximate. So, it would be about 31-32 ml per Litre.

Thank you for providing the dilution ratios for multiple amounts to be used for various applications. However, it would have been more helpful if you had included the resulting strength of hydrogen peroxide (percentage-wise) these dilutions result in.

I have a minor degree chemistry, so let me help. Think of a liter as a quart of fluid. The difference is so minor, for all intents and purposes.
      They're the same, basically.

Since you have a need to criticize others, why not start with your comment/question that you posted, as placing the correct punctuation marks would help when posing a question and posting a comment.
