You are spot on. I've always wondered why it is that some music is timeless, or what makes a good hook or ear worm in general. How is one song like "Hey Jude" so timeless, while Lil Naz X's "Old Town Road" good for about 2 months and then you never hear it again. It cannot just be "magic", there has to be a melody on everyone's hearts that the world would love to hear.
