Maples for all Seasons: Acer p. Sharp's Pygmy and Acer p.d. Tamukeyama

  • This two Japanese Maples are planted by a water fall. They are in late Summer leaf color. Acer p. Sharp's Pygmy is a Dwarf tree which only grows to 3ft by 3ft. It has small palmate leaves which are light green with red edging in the Spring. The leaves turn to all green in the Summer and in Autumn turn Orange. Acer p.d. Tamukeyama is a dissectum leaf tree which is bright red in the Spring. The Summer leaf color is burgandy and the leaves turn crimson red in the Autumn. It grows to 5 to 6ft in height and 6 to 8ft in wide.
