I’m not a Manchester United supporter, but he’d be a perfect signing for them. Hard working off the ball as well as on it, can help link play and I believe him to be extremely underrated. That said, I do believe it would be a poor decision on his part. If I was him, I’d either go to Liverpool if that was an option or stay at Chelsea.

That’s exactly the reason I believe Mount to be underrated, so many people don’t see just how much he offers on the pitch both in attack and in defence. He’s the kind of player that doesn’t allow opposition midfielders time on the ball as he will constantly press and close down, while still having the ability to produce with the ball (which is where players like Fred struggle consistently, even though he’s improved a lot this season). Think of Mount more and a Wijnaldum type of player for how he plays the game (although I do believe prime Wijnaldum was the superior player) and you’d have a more accurate representation of the type of player Mount is than comparing him to Bruno

Mount is someone that (although dropped off this season, but so has the whole of the Chelsea side) offers a minimum of a 7/10 every game, can stop the opposition playing and link up play (how often do teams get slaughtered for passing the ball backwards or sideways?). With a year left on his deal, if he can be picked up for £65 million, it would be a fantastic signing.
