Awesome tips. Willing to try it out. Expenses come if you need to make a new outlet for your light. HUE is relatively cheap in comparison
Just picked up my 16" MBP from Best Buy...last one left in my city. It is unbelievable. For anyone on the fence, the 14" wouldn't even be on my radar. Im a doc filmmaker and photographer and just the minimal stuff Ive done so far was easily accomplished.
I use a few Govee products and have had pretty good success with them... but you're 100% right, the app is a major limitation. I use some of their aRGB strips as bias behind my monitors and I have some of their outdoor products that have been working great for our landscaping. For bulbs, the Wyze RGB and White lights are pretty good for the price too.

@@JordanPulmano I have the RGB ones in my office over-heard fan/light so that, when watching movies at my desk, I can bring them down and set color to them. I have the white-only light in my sons rooms with a schedule to dim it when it's time to go to bed.
Have you experienced any problems with flickering or flashing of the BenQ Screenbar Halo LED Monitor Light ? Some reviewers posted the light does not last long. According to your video you've had this light for a year... do you still recommend it? Is it still working for you?
Is the Dual Philips Hue set good for table top lightning? I'll probably point them to the wall behing my monitor. But both my table and my wall (which has black boards on it) are black. What I should get is probably the Benq but I can't find it in my country. I can find the dual Philips Hue set though. I wonder if it would help to lighten my table. It's really hard to see in the dark. Only the screen is bright and I can't locate some of the parts on my table :))))
