Lucky Stiff yeah, there was a tenor transcription in there with it but the audio didn't play for some reason 🤔 On that note, there is a ton more percussion on the MuseScore post, I'd recommend hearing that too whenever you feel like it!

The thing I liked most about Babylon was the show didn’t necessarily focus on the trumpet section as much as the rest of the corps. Especially the mello and baritone lines, who both have amazing parts as far as the horns go. What an amazing show that deserved the 2018 championship!

At 1:29 the other horns (not sure about tubas) have half notes instead of whole notes). I know this is 4 years since this transcription was made but ye. Other than that, the transcription is amazing

It was amazing as usual! The only thing I could think of is the last measure in the frame at like 6:59, the mellophones go back up to the G (C) with everyone else. Other than that, I'll be studying this score because it's such an excellent book. You all never disappoint.

Just an fyi, maybe this will help you fix a problem (not with the transcription the transcription is great!) When i go to download with individual parts it says theres an error with the key thats keeping it from working
Matrix Gaming I've been told this by a few people now, I'll try to look into it tomorrow. Glad you like the score though! Until it's fixed, I imagine you could just download the MuseScore file then make parts within the score.

Could you possibly add the horn snap at 515? I know it's a transcription but just how they implemented it into the show. It made the show for me that click from the entire hornline followed by the amazing hit. Please add it lol I will love you forever

During the Metropolis closer, the 3rd and 4th set of rips that go from C to G (3rd) and C to G/C F# (4th) is wrong (at least from what I think after watching the mello cam like 18 trillion times😅). I pretty sure it's just 3 notes, E to G (3rd) and Eb to G/F# (4th). They aren't as big as the 1st and 2nds rips.

It's kind of a musical grammar thing. Since the ending chord is a huge concert Eb unison, (Bb for mellos) it wouldn't make sense to write a E natural or B natural. It would be like saying a D major chord has D, Gb and A. It sounds right, but spelled wrong.

I’m not convinced that you’re right. Could you be a bit more specific? If you’re saying something like it shouldn’t be 4/4-3/4, and instead 7/4, or something like that, that’s fine. I don’t usually go for official sheet music accuracy, I just try to make it sound correct.

Gotcha. Yeah, I typically don’t care much for nailing the sheet music layout completely accurately. In practice, two measures of 3/4 is the same as one of 6/4, and it sounds the same in the program, so that’s usually what I go for. It’s a fair thing to be pointed out, but if I were to go back and try to make everything look like the sheet music, I may as well just post the official sheet music itself, you know?
