This tank's history is pretty cool, they took a T-80BV hull, built it up to T-80U standards, then took a T-80UD turret, which actually has slightly better base armor than the normal T-80U, then put some thermals on it and it's even supposed to be able to shoot the latest ammo like the T-90. As much as I love the T-80s, its a bit ridiculous how many of them are in war thunder haha
But in the dev didn't have thermal i don't know its still dev server
No Justin 292's hull is T-80BV obr 1985. with Kontakt-1 ERA stripped off of it.
T-80BV obr. 1985 and T-80U had the same base hull armor i.e. steel, textolite, steele, textolite, steel.
I will say that it does suck how bad USA is. In the past couple days I’ve played probably 25-30 games with 11.7 Sweden and what ever side had USA lost every match.
When o play Japanese, everytime I saw US on my team I just like "Well we're doomed from the start"

Just realized that they have 4 tanks at 10.0 you can just buy + one plane: BMP 2M; T72turm; T80ud; 2s38 and the su25 🫡
Full 10.0 Russia lineup is infamous, especially when the 292 was still 10.0.
There is a fight going on on Reddit about Germany not having premium vehicles in 6.0 while every other nation does, including the USSR has a Panther Premium, Italy and Japan have a Tiger E Premium, just as every nation has good Premium Fighters/CAS on the 6.0 and Germany also does not have a BF109 6.0 Premium. What do you think of all this? They said that the US has the Sherman Jumbo, M18, just as the USSR has several T34 and other good premium tanks, and Germany does not have its own premium vehicles most used in the 2nd World War.
Well what vehicle can they put on the premium for Germany? I can't really think of any of the examples, unless its some wunderwaffe vehicles like Lowe or some other stuff like that

Gaijin made copypaste for outlets from the US, USSR, as well as other nations. Example of the M51 in Israel. This is not a problem having the same vehicle for a Premium version. The big thing is that having this Premium vehicle is an extra backup to be able to play. As well as players can buy a BF109K4 Premium which will make them a good fighter for ground and also for 6.0 matches. It's really funny to see people complain that Germany only loses in 6.0 games because they only have one bomber. Why do they only play with one Bomber? If Gaijin delivers a good fighter in 6.0, people will be able to play with him.
They should stop whining before Gaijin makes the tiger p a 6.0 instead of a 5.7

Here's some clarification :
T-80U-E1 is a T-80BV hull (same hull as T-80U) upgraded with Kontakt-5 combined with a T-80UD turret. After the Cold War ended, Russia inherited a large stockpile of T-80UDs, but could not maintain or produce the 6TD engine used in the T-80UD as it was manufactured at the Malyshev plant in Ukraine. The T-80UD turret was still useful, and was a big upgrade in protection over the T-80BV, with some upgrades to the sights and autoloader, the T-80U-E1 was created.
Justin, T80BVM and T90M has same targeting speed, you just have ace crew on T90M.
I'm waiting for the Leo 2A4M seems like a fun tank to use and finish off my last couple tanks I haven't gotten yet

Is that for real 34.0/s degrees Turret Rotation speed? That's big. Even the regular T-80U still has that slow-ass turret rotation from previous models of T series
As much as I love modern vehicles and feel that the MBT is the true tank, id love to see vehicles like the Bison, M44, Bishop, etc., as well as longer range maps for top tier instead of repeated premiums for nations that dont need them.

The УЕ-1 actually consists of the upgraded T-80Б hull, T-80УД Turret, and has Агава-2 thermal sight. Or it may be the Thallas French thermal, I'm not sure. Either way, it is the same thermal as on T-90А. Then there is the 2А46М4 gun, which can fire 3БМ46. It may be able to fire Свинетс-1 and 2.
I read somewhere it was the Plisa thermal sight

I'm honestly hoping it kind of tanks the win rates because good lord, going against Russia Sweden and Germany on the same team as the US is rough. I'm one of 3 guys left in the match and I can't take shots as easily as they can.
10.3 is gonna be a living nightmare with this thing in the update, DM23 can barely hold it's own at the BR. Fighting swarms of wallet warriors, T80's at that, is just gonna destroy the matchmakers again. Excited for the mid tier vehicles, not excited for premiums.
My Swedish lineup will be rendered useless if the up tiers and premium spam is as bad as I predict.
First i thought Gaijin did leaks themselve to start Hype, but after seeing all of the vehicles of the leak on the dev and having 0 surprise effect i think Leaks are a bad thing for the game
I wonder why gaijin would release another top tier russian premium? Maybe it has something to do with people who continue to complain about pointless non-issues that they *know* isn't absorbed or taken into consideration by gaijin and as a result of their constant complaining new players hear the terms "russian bias" and "op" and immediately purchase top tier premiums like the 2s38 hoping to cut corners in the grind and considering the fact that the only thing gaijin listens to is money they notice the influx of people buying said "op" vehicles and as further result add more russian premiums. If you genuinely want to do something about "russian bias" and the overwhelming amount of russian premiums shut up, complain about actual issues, boycott the game, quit, do literally anything then waste peoples time and fuel gaijin's greed. Have any of you people even considered any of this as a possibility? Or do you just plan on complaining to gaijin for eternity knowing damn well they won't do a thing regardless? Seriously wake up or shut up, gaijin will continue to make more russian premiums until they notice players are losing interest and are no longer buying premiums, all of you should know for a *fact* that gaijin has not and never will listen unless it's something in regards to money. With that in consideration do something of actual value rather than crying about "russian bias" and wasting everybody's time. This is in regards to the people who *will* complain about "russian bias" or the people who fail to understand the consequences of their constant ignorance to actual problems in this game.

I wish they had added something for mid tier ground. I wish the last like 2 updates had added anything for mid tier ground. I dont play top tier because it's blatantly not fun anymore, but I might not have a choice. Im not grinding planes, so I dont know how to play them. And that seems to be necessary in the upper echelons. Like forgive me, I wanted to have fun in a tank. I guess that isnt allowed.
On the export variant i don’t believe its correct because the T-72S is the export and the same for T-90MS. I do not know about the E variant stands for though ilI would love to learn

I guess we can spot that type of players who buy 1 of them then rush in die and leave the game after this and leave the team making the odds much worse. Where is France's new premium MBT to bridge the gap from rank 7 to 8. Currently there is no premium that can effectively research rank 8 since they changed some of the Leclercs to rank 8

Bruh this is going to be the best 11.3 T-80, and of course it’s a premium. This thing supposed to have gen 2 thermals, similar to that of the T-90A.
I think it’s also supposed to have a much faster traverse rate compared to the other T-80Us.
This thing is more 11.7 material than 11.3, especially since the carousel is upgraded to fire 3BM60.
It WILL get gen 2s, im surprised gaijin didn’t make it more overpowered and gave it 3bm60 at 11.3, they did it with the 2s25m
@@Optimusprime56241 at least with the 2S25M it’s justifiable, because it’s quite similar to the M1128 in being insane firepower, great optics, mobility, but zero armor. And there also is the M-120S at the same br with M829A1.
With this T-80, even if they only give it 3BM46, it’s not justifiable because it outclasses the other T-80Us without compromise.

120S is mid but it gets M829A1, which is a bit better than 3BM60, and a strong turret for 10.0. It isn’t “awful.”
M1128 is almost exactly the same as the 2S25M wdym. Barely any differences between them. 2S25M has better reverse speed but the Stryker has a crewless turret that can peek over invulnerable spots on the map. Both are excellent, and fulfill their role really well. 3BM60 is a bit better than M900, but at their br they lolpen everything anyways, and at higher brs, they don’t have any different interactions.

Top tier premiums are fun. Don't take this game too serious.
For the algothythm? Nah, i personally do like the high tier premiums. When i started with ground RB a few years ago, i tried out the low rank tech tree stuff and i absolutely hated it. I've bought some premiums that i actually like (or like mostly) so i can actually grind to where i want to get with some medicore amount of fun. without those higher tier premiums, i wouldnt even have bothered. So yes, while they do come with plenty of downsides, i personally am very happy that snail gives them to us and am looking forward to a french one (since i definitely do NOT want to play the AMX30 super and i despise wheeled vehicles xD)
France could possibly get the AMX-56 Leclerc ARES as their 11.3 premium which was the Prototype for the Leclerc we have in Top Tier France
No, the prototype should be tech tree to help their lineup, just have an UAE Leclerc or sumthin
