Had the pleasure of seeing this bot live!! Great work!
as the builder of big-ish,
you have the superior 'ish' bot lol
Nice video and great bot!
9:43 I so love the look of that
Awesome robot and a great concise recap!
This is an impressive bot! Well done
Great video and congratulations on doing so well!
Thats a really great bot, I love these types videos!
i think that adding a spike to the striking hammer or an edge to the top of it would make it more devastating, but that's on you
I do want to look at adding a bit more of a point to the next version of the weapon bar to hopefully cut into opponents on hits better. the one problem with adding points however is they blunt very quickly so you often have to re sharpen them between fights which can leave the weapon unbalanced if your not careful
Good job!
I love this machine!!!!
Very elegant build, well done. Are you planning on supporting the motor shafts some way?
Its a bit of a pain to add extra supports to the shafts unfortunately, i cant add anything to the weapon side of the pully as there isn't enough clearance with the weapon bar and the geometry of the bot doesn't really work for it, I could potentially add an extra bearing on the frame side of the pully but there isn't much space there either. At this point i just am going to see if the motor shaft snapping was a once off or if it will become a common problem, might have just been a dodgy shaft that had a weakness in it already.
Hey dude, nice bot. Reminds me of the early versions of my uk FW “CPT Jack Spinnah" you’ll have lots of fun with that design trust me 😂😂 until every fight you have someone slaps a huge wedge on. Haha.
hey, yeah ive seen videos of your bot love it, on the early design ideas for mine I considered having the frame half's joined at the back like yours but ended up going for the fully separated frames. I have had someone use a hydra style cow catcher/bike rack on my beetle weight version which i was able to counter by using the stabilising legs to lift it up and over my bot.
Very cool, what about a bar connecting your stabilizer legs, and you could flip it over on top of the rival bot trapping it under your blade
1:05 Pulleys made from 6061 what? :)
Its huge from battlebots
👍
