It was so bad I can't even watch this due to PTSD. 14 boxes at 450-500 each. 6300-7000 spent to gain 4 legendary cards worth 150-200 each. Life lesson learned.
In ten years: "The 4 legendary cards worth more than 10k now only cost me 7k back in the day and thats not including the value of all the rare, common, majestics I got with it. So glad I was there at release. Life lesson unlearned/relearned."

Do you have to have a patreon tier to have access to the Rudy exclusive metazoo kits or can I donate and then have access? Asking as all the Tiers are full
Have to be a patreon and patreon was closed a couple of years back (and will never be reopened to keep it manageable for sales etc)
Only way to get on patreon is refresh the list page and hope someone has unsubed and you can nab the spot before someone else does

It is still 165 a box which is twice the MSRP....I think that is still good. It has been 8 months. It all takes time.
I definitely like FaB more than MetaZoo. Meta Zoo just has to much going on on the cards. FaB is very clean and doesn’t cause sensory overload.
You should of said they released unlimited with first edition I think that was another force driving it down.
I was in on Flesh and Blood and supported the game as LSS seemed like a good company originally and I fully supported them then; things happen and you give people a chance then they still disappoint. I hold some product and will see where things go, but I have no faith in LSS currently due to their recent underhanded shenanigans, but I still hold out hope for their redemption.

Except those cards are now really worth those claimed amounts. It’s just a very small group of people selling them between them hoping fools from the outside will get in on the scam
What an interesting story and interesting product. The flesh and blood market as a whole feels super cheap to me. Does anyone else feel that way? It feels so cheap, and has for a long enough time that it’s kind of a bummer tbh. I often think to myself, if only I knew where we would be at in 2 years. Ofc everyone feels like that about just about everything.
I believe in the game and think that prices will go up. I just wonder how long that’s gonna take. I suppose I’m in it for the long haul regardless though. Thanks for the video rudy

It's so funny to talk about the game as an "investment", in 1 scenario it is, but in another, I find myself going to local FAB events just to have fun and play a game + hopefully win a prize. What a world aha
It's whatever you want it to be. ^^ In a sense everyone is an investor. They want their cards to hold and retain value after all.
Rudy is still pushing this stuff as an investment because he needs fools to buy it from him. In reality this is a horrible investment. Nobody will want this stink of a game in a couple of years

Of course there is a correlation between cards and crypto's. If you dont value money and spend a house worth of money on a position on a blockchain that tells you you own 10 coins you will also drop a milli dollars in some cardboard and other non essential stuff.

Yeah, prices drop when demand is suddenly (much) lower than supply. Too many boxes. Too many cold foil commons. It'll take many months (40+ I'd say, maybe even 5+ years) for MON to reach its old highs once again. And who knows, in 10 years it can even reach the famous 1k

Monarch is ok! $160 a box is still 2x your money!
RUDY! Except for the very rare LGS that sold Monarch 1st at MSRP on release (most sellers sold at highly inflated prices relative to MSRP, cough cough Rudy, cough cough), Monarch 1st Edition is not now and never has been valued as low as MSRP. It's a total failure of a product. Hence, every TCG/CCG set that has sold predominately at MSRP or below upon release and after release must be considered to be total dumpster fire failures much worse than Monarch 1st Edition.
