Jay Clah Other albums of LP are also good but they aren't really Linking Park since it is no NuMetal. They started as Numetal band and also got famous with NuMetal. To most people their name is rather connected to NuMetal music .. but i guess this will change with future generations.

chester's death is so surreal..so many people grew up listening to linkin park. he was the main music figure i was raised listening to. hybrid theory was the first album i ever remember hearing and was the gateway to the music i listen to today. papercut- the first track to an iconic album that had an influence on so many people.

The first song from the first album. So many more songs have been released since, but I still feel like no other song showcases Linkin Park the best. The chemistry between Mike And Chester is at max, and shows their best parts(Mike-rapping, Chester-singing/ hooks)
Not only that but it’s the perfect song to show someone who’s not into them. For a first song, it pretty much shows you the blueprint for the rest of their discography. Even though every album is artistically distinct from one another, the group dynamics remain the same. You can tell the knew what they were doing even from the start. The vision is clear.

4/12/2024. 48 yo. I have seen them in their prime in Nashville and actually caught Chester on a stage dive in my fkn arms goons. My life is complete. He had us rocking like no one else. He was wearing a white wife beater. I remember what it felt like to pat his sweaty back and hug him. Miss him so much.

Im here in 2024, best band ever, i feel privileged to have seen them live. That night was so good, almost as good as Sergio aguero scoring against qpr! The birth of my daughter doesnt even come close to these two moments... I'll never tell her that, but yeah, i cherish those memories

His favourite was Sharp Edges, but he emphasised highly that it was a "at the moment" sort of thing. Breaking The Habit had been his favourite for a long time before then, and probably would be again after a while, I feel like he said Sharp Edges simply because it was new and he enjoyed it. I don't think it would've been permanent, Breaking The Habit was a very special song to him.
