She declined the US scholarship and she is so happy she chose Moscow. All the stories you hear about Russia in the western media are just propaganda demonising Russia. Hi! Guys, I'm here in Russia, precisely in Crimea Republic. Ms. Amazing-Grace Ajayi is 100% correct. I would like to add that, Russia is: Huge, Rich, Powerful, Morally upright, Very Safe to live in, Very accommodating and on top of it all the country is blessed with a president that put the interest of his people and country first. As the saying goes in Yoruba community - When the Yorubas cannot overpower somebody, they will simply say: "Efisile, Were ni" (that is, leave him alone, he is a Mad man), that is exactly what is happening between the collective West and Russia. The collective West cannot overpower Russia, so they resorted to demonise the country and it's leadership. Russia is Google and safe, come and see with your own eyes. I say "PRIVET" from Crimea, Russia.

points of contact of interests, because Russia’s policy of working with everyone who is ready to work with us is, in principle, the policy of a healthy sovereign state and should be based on different poles, this is normal, the main thing is to play a fair game and comply with agreements. For example, we work a lot with Turkey and India, which do not take sides, and these relations work quite well, everyone gets benefits from it. In any case, the Russian people are truly pleased that Russia is starting to interact with Africa again, I really hope this will benefit both Russians and Africans!

@@lovely7840 There is a great deal of investment in Russia for building out modern infrastructure and in the sciences/engineering. So those with skills in those fields are sought.
I moved from the US 24 years ago to St Petersburg Russia and arrived the same day President Putin was first sworn in at president. Every month, life gets better, safer, happier and more secure, all elements that a government needs to be measured by. Quality of life has easily surpassed the US and Europe. Aligning with Russia and China and all the BRICS is the wisest choice for any African country. 450 years of European then US rule has been very harmful for the development of all the countries on that continent
The west sees other lands and cultures opportunities to steal resources, but Russia and China want trade and for partners to became partners, not slaves.
I have traveled a lot, 92 counties, and Russia is the easiest country to have a good life without massive debt, crime or a dominate political class of very wealthy who control all government priorities. No country has such high percentage of college educated or where the population own their homes as much and one point that few people comment on: Russia included over 200 native cultures and ethnicities from the very beginning so they all have a stake in the country, all are brothers, and equal. I realized that was very different that other societies when I first visited in the 1970s. Watch the eyes of an America of Northern European ancestry when interactive with a black person...their eyes dilate then watch if white Russian sees or interact with an African and there is no eye dilation, they are just people who has something of value to listen to. The same with people of different religions, no negative responses. They only judge by ones character. No one treats me less courteously because my native country is focused on destroying Russia and breaking it into 8 smaller countries where all the resources belong to some wealthy corporation in the US, the same reason for the 202 invasions, coups and leader assassinations by the US since 1950

And I'm talking about a country that ranks 5th to 7th place among the biggest supplier of petroleum to the rest of the civilised world. In addition, other than bottle water and borehole water, clean purified pipe born water is non existent in the faucets of 99% of homes.
With regards to social welfare services, internarional standard medical facilities are almost non existent, how much more majority health care insurance ownership by majority of Nigerian Citizens. Shockingly, Rwanda is more developed than oil rich Nigeria. Suffice to say that not only is Nigeria the most unconventionally run country in Africa, it's the most currupt, disorderly and lawless country in the continent of Africa if not in the entire world.

The correspondent is right, any government has to be in touch constantly with people and communicate them and explain the importance of an infrastructure project or any policies that wants to carry on. I’m from Mexico and the current government which is left progressive, carried important infrastructure project and the president went to talk personally with the communities where the project was going to take place and explain the importance of the project and he also heard the demands of those communities and created together other projects for the communities. For example, Maya Train a mega project was built throughout the southeast of the country, the Yucatán Peninsula and part of the state of Chiapas and Tabasco, the government consulted all the communities were the train will pass explained the benefits, but also during the consultation the communities demanded improvements of infrastructure of the communities, and the government delivered and they have seen an significant improvement of their lives. Greetings from Mexico City.

It will be a day to go from Moscow to the nearest Northern land border, I think. For example non-high speed train from Moscow to Archangelsk goes for 20-23 hours. And around 36 hours to go to Murmansk.

Sometimes ukranian armed forces strike Russian borderline towns(Belgorod region) with an artillery and nato missiles. These towns are in 10-20km away from Ukraine. Also sometimes they bomb these new liberated regions of Donbass (they are the part of Russia now). it is like a 700-800km away from Moscow where all this happens. Moscow's anti-air systems have 4 rings of defense that are developing for 60+ years non-stop. Moscow doesn't have any military facilities so there is no strategical reason to attack it. So it is pretty safe even in a wartime. Other russian big cities are very distant from a borderline so even nato missiles can't reach them🙂

As a Nigerian in diaspora, I wonder how Nigeria remains extremely poor, and continues to suffer from extremely unreliable electricity, horrible roads, poor telecommunication, and extreme poverty - with all the revenue from natural resources. This harkens back to our elites, who were active slave dealers, and still are. The primary factor in Anti-Black discrimination all over the world is the persistent perception of Africa as poor. The fact is that Africa was never poor. Africa remains 1000 times richer than Europe. But our elites continue to betray the continent, by selling our hopes and resources, just to line their pockets. When you have a short conversation with a Nigerian, he/she will mention God 10 times in a minute, but this is country where corruption is the norm. Our lack of social will perpetuates poverty. It appears to me that Africa will remain poor and humiliated for the next 200 years, because of this "Crippled Pharoah Syndrome".
