The Gelataio

The Gelataio is a short documentary on James Coleridge, an artisan gelataio whose passion for gelato propelled him to travel to Italy to learn the old ways of making gelato. In contrast with industrial gelato, machine-made and filled with additives and artificial flavors, James insists on creating gelato the traditional way, waking up early every day to make fresh, small batches of gelatos from raw ingredients.
