Traxxas TRX4 Sport WATER Torture Test! ESC Fire Destroys Motor And ESC

I bought the Traxxas TRX4 Sport for when it rains and my RC track gets flooded. We pit the truck fully underwater mutiple times, and had alot of fun in thw mud. After, about 20 minutes of fun the truck stopped dead in the water. I noticed smoke and ripped the body off. The ESC was pouring out smoke.

Nice run. Sorry you had a burn out. I wonder it was caused by the continuous driving in deep water and mud. Not so much that water penetrated the ESC but rather the continuous load on the motor causing the ESC to fail. Was it the ESC or Motor that cooked?
