Not only did they film this in San Quentin prison they used actual inmates… all the people you see in prison are actual inmates except for like 12-15 actors
A Chicano is an American born Mexican. We are proud of being called Chicanos. ✊🏽✌🏽🙏🏽
"Mayate" is Spanish for a big black dung beetle. Its offenisve so you're right to not like that word. "Fuerte" means strong, powerful. NIce reactions keep up the good work!
@Andre Quintero I knew something was off about that word 😂😂. Thank you thank you for informing me 👍... Also appreciate your kind words and support I'll definitely keep the content coming. Feel free to leave any movies you might like to see me react to in the comments and I'll add whatever I haven't seen to my list and again big thanks for the translation on both words 🙏...
P😅
@@coolrj55it’s pretty much slang for the N word
Great reaction man!
Mayate/Maytl in Nahuatl (Aztec language) means Beetle (usually June Bug), as a Mexican kid from the 80s we would catch June bugs (Mayates) and tie a string on there bodies and watch them fly around, it wasnt derogatory to us until we would hear it from Chicanos. Many African Americans in the past had a family member who was nick named "June Bug," Mexican Americans/Chicanos in the US would use that term to refer to black people and it would become an insult/derogatory in the US, its origins are hard to pin point but it more than likely started in the 30s & 40s when many African Americans were migrating west away from Jim Crow states & were moving into Mexican American communities. In Mexico, Mayate is derogatory for gay men & not black people.
@axgcat wow now that word seems to have taken on a life of it's on apparently transforming into something far different from it's original meaning like many other words. It's interesting how people can take words and change them into something completely different than the original attended meaning... That thing yall did with the string sounds fun and somewhat similar to catching Fireflies. It's funny my nickname from my grandparents was June Bug 🤦♂️😂😂...
"Órale" is a common interjection in Mexican Spanish slang. It is also commonly used in the United States as an exclamation expressing approval or encouragement. The term has varying connotations, including an affirmation that something is impressive, an agreement with a statement (akin to "okay"), or to signify distress.
Somebody's been referring to the dictionary hard my boy lol.
@King COBRA maaaan it sounds like @Jesus Perez knows his stuff mane come on now 😂. @Jesus Perez I appreciate you breaking it down like that for me mane 🙏. I'm seeing this one word so far in the comments can refer to many different thing's really based off tone that it's being used in but interesting information for sure that you came with 👍....
@@coolrj55 Basically, Orale means.... "Allright". its pretty simple, lol.
@King COBRA maaaaan all I know is every time I hear someone say "alright" they go to jail right after 🤦♂️😂😂 I don't want to say alright like that 🤣
@@coolrj55 omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 bro, you are by far my favorite youtuber.
This was a hilarious😂😂😂 video. To see how others react to the movie. Thanks for a good video!
Chicano=Mexican American
And there ain’t nothing bad about “orale” 😂
I love how this movie is the Mexican version of every black hood movie ive ever seen
@Chantall Meyer My thoughts exactly 😄. I'm finding a lot of movies in this genre culturally relatable..
Dont forget about American me
Orale is something like "Allright"
Or right on
They did film in San Quentin and crazy fact...only 8 were actors all the other were real inmates
@Connie aw man 😮 that's wild!!! So, a lot of those people were actual inmates. That had to be one of the most interesting movie sets to be on 😄...
@@coolrj55 honestly yes there's even a documentary of how the movie was made her on CZcams look it up for sure
Best reactor g 💯 much respect for watchin classic good ass movies like dis boulevard nights another great movie N
Mi vida loca
@2 ACTIVE mane thank you thank you for the big up I really appreciate that and also both of your movie recommendations is now on my list. Yall better not be sending me down any more orale paths in life these movies either 😂😂. I got you though thanks again 👊...
@@coolrj55 ay sum other 🔥 classics Is the wanderers and the warriors

There’s nothing but good behind Órale fam.
BRO THIS MOVIE IS A CLASSIC! Randomly found your channel and instantly became a subscriber because of this. keep reacting man, this was awesome!
Your reactions are hilarious.

Yo just found this reaction and my g, I like you. You cool as hell and funny too
This is one of the ones I been waiting on.
Can’t wait for pt2🙌🏽💯
Waiting on part 2 bro dope reaction 🙏
The “solid” moment is a copyright issue because of the song in the scene.
@Joseph Rodriguez thanks for the info because that definitely threw me for a loop but it didn't take away from the scene so ay it's all good but definitely drop a few movies you think I should react to and I'll add it to the list 👊...
It started with the painkillers from the hospital, like my friend use to say "ain't no drugs like pharmaceuticals."
18:27 u asked what the term chicano means. basically u were born in the U.S. but have mexican decent 🇲🇽
Love how you reacted to the whole movie
AYO WHATTUP! @14:40, odelay means 'whattup'...so in context it could be a salutation, or it could be a warning lol @17:19 Chale means 'no way' @18:22 chicano is a mexican-american, mexican born in america, more of a cultural thing like lowriders and dickies and shit lol @30:00 - @30:31 AYO U SEE HOW FAST LIFE CAN CHANGE?! LMAO!!
*Orale
@@BeastModeDanny ayo i cant believe i spelled it like that, i know better 😵
@@bbqfetus-the_don_grilluminati it happens brother
it's orale, lol.

Back in those days chicanos would lower their cars using sandbags in the trunk to make them look different and i guess there were laws that you couldn’t have your bumper too low. We fixed the problem with hydraulics😉
See a cop and the car’s low flip of a switch now he can’t pull you over for that
damn bro i didnt even know that! 😲 salute g
@Eman P 209 now that right there is some really dope history lesson. This why I love the comments 😁. Ok well exactly how heavy were those sand bags to even lower the car in that way 🤔? Like we talking some industrial type stuff here? I think I only seen one real low rider in person in my life and was just in amazement if the beauty of that car plus I was like a little kid with my big self tell my guy "hit the hydraulic thingy again!!" 😂😂...
@Eman P 209 also I'm not sure if you have anything you would want me to react to but if you do please put a few movie recommendations here in the comments and whatever out of your picks haven't seen I'll put it on my list 👊...
@@coolrj55definitely check out “Sicario” if you haven’t. Also “Gran Torino” 💯
@Eman P 209 I really wish I could react to both those movies but unfortunately I've definitely watched those movies many times now. Sicario was my real introduction to Benicio Del Toro and maaaan that's just my movie in general for him 😂. I will be reviewing those movies on the Twitch livestream though. If you have any other movie recommendations definitely feel free to leave a few more 👌...
Yeah bro the prison scenes were actually filmed in san quentin. They had to sign waivers saying the prison was not responsible if anything happen to the actors
@The Void oooohhhh 😮 so they was crazy crazy on making this as real as possible 😂 maaan ay that's definitely a way of making look authentic for sure 👏...
The warden also wanted to read the script before allowing them to film. Said he was impressed with the accuracy of it and allowed them to film in the prison.
@Black Sunday wow 😮😮 very interesting background you added I appreciate that 👌... Kinda sounds like the mob when it came to the Godfather script..
The guy who wrote the movie spent time in San Quentin. It’s loosely based on his life.
They had no incidents while filming. I’m guessing the prisoners loved being part of a movie. Especially the riots. They must of had a field day.
Orale means alright like the one word you don't like its nothing bad bro 😂
@LILCEAZGFUNK maaaaaaan ay yall keep telling me that mane but I keep seeing too much prison after that word gets mentioned 🤦♂️😂😂... Appreciate you hipping me for real though 👌. Ay and you know any other great movie's like this please drop a few for me 👊...
Orale, Coolrj55!!! I left your video a like, compliments of El Mero Mero.
@getschwifty9531 mane I greatly appreciate your like of the video and just kicking it with me general over here. Also if there are any movies or shows you think I should check out, make sure list out a few here for me, and if I haven't seen it, it will be added to the list 👊...
I know I'm 3 months late but Montana handing miklo the green apple was symbolic of Montana giving a green light for miklo to hit al
@Mr.Couchvanilla now that was great observation you made and thanks for letting me know the meaning behind the whole green apple thing because I definitely was a little lost on why it was so focused on like that. Man that's pretty clever... And if there are any movies you would like for me to check out over just drop a few for me and whatever I haven't seen I'll add it on to the list...
I've watched this movie for years and it seems that scene went over my head for so long till now 😂
Brilliant!!!
Thanks, man!
Here before this channel blows up.
It is filmed in San Quentin and those are all real prisoners. No extras.
1:04:56 they were talking about selling a painting, they wanted a lower price for it and they said no, probably losing the sale
This guy freaking out over orale is crazy lol
@BIGxBOSSxx1 😂😂
A classic 👌 💯
This movie never gets old
I don’t know if anyone noticed but the guy from the Arian brotherhood lightning is the guy who comes out in bad Santa
It wasn't suppose to go silent. During the scene Jimmi Hendrix's song "Little Wing" plays. I think it was a copyright thing because it's weird it's just that scene the sound goes out.
Mi familia and Zootsuits are some you can watch to keep up with this genre
Need part 2 fam Mexicans fucken wit you fosho now my boy
Facts
*No Way* & it's his apple back.😊
Boulevard nights is another good movie more about Chicano street gang life and Lowrider life in the 70s and 80s
CHALE means or it depends on how you feel its like saying no, Hell no, or yeah right.
Placazo means badge an example of the movie “when am I getting my placazo” when am I getting my tattoo buddies
Also awesome video.
Pt2 🙏🏼🔥
Just came across this video fire reaction 🔥 they did film in the prison they had to sign a waver cause there was only like 5 or 6 actual actors the rest were all inmates
Ever seen breaking bad? The character tuco? The actor that plays "chuey" is raymond cruz, same actor that plays tuco salamanca in breaking bad.
LAPD is notorious for their corruption foo
You were watching on youtube, right? It had that part silenced to try to avoid copyright.
@Jay-jq6bl Yeah, I couldn't really find it on any streaming platform's 🤦♂️ ay but I tried 😂👍...
Give me some chon chon is probably my favorite line ever
@CodeeXD mane that's a line that scares me 😨😂😂
I was scared AF of Popeye when I was little he had a evil ass face in that part lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Feria in their dialogue means money or Dough in some ocations
Love the reaction my nigga 💯🌿😈
@FSP_EL_Diablo appreciate that mane and if there are any movies or shows you want me to react to on this channel, just drop a few for me and if I haven't seen it I'm adding to my list 👌...
this movie you didnt have to blur , as big as it is the rights for it are all over the place it barley made it to DVD .

Fuerte means strong... He makes them look strong
Simon means yes
but it also means Simon as a name but is very common in Spanish speaking peoples
Yeah they really film in there
Orrale means like yes cool
Yea Thats him, he helped with the 🎥
The little black book is The Holy Bible....🤷♀️ I just could never find that page 😂😂 it has to be contraband hidden in the pages
@LawdHavMercie maybe part of the lost gospels 🤣🤣
nice reaction brotha just to help u out u shouldve watched this before american me because for those who dont kno it made that word seem bad or dangerous but its just slang we use like saying "cool" or "alright" in english as in approval... many words we use in Spanish have multipule meanings kinda depends on wat ur talking about... in the other movie it was used as him saying "ok" or "alright" after the other guy said he couldnt do it, he was basically playing it cool so that the guy wouldnt get suspicious that somethings going to happen or something is wrong... u should definately watch "Mi Familia" its more about our culture n ull love the music n rides shown
If you watchin on CZcams it cuts the sound off on like 3 parts dialog ain’t that important
Chale means like chill or kick back relax some what
They did shoot this movie in the prison my uncle was actually locked up there when they were shooting the movie
@The Villain you that shit crazy mane 😮😮!!! What year was that, like how old is this movie ? I bet he had some cool stories about seeing some of that actual movie production in a real prison like "they turned the prison into a whole movie set."😂... That's cool as hell mane...
@coolrj55 I wish I could ask him more questions, but he had passed away like 3 years ago 🙏🏽
Òrale at its base definition means "Pray to Him" Him being Jesus
Orale has multiple meanings lol
52:54 to 53:05 his reaction is funny
Odelay= what's good, what's up. Now your choice on how you use it.
Orale lmao
@@bubbasvega2316 thank you sir, I'm from Cali but I still struggle with my Spanish.
Odelay? lol. Orale.
No órale means alright , or that’s what’s up lol . Used in that sense
Excuse my spelling, I failed Spanish 😆
Back then there was only one kind of Tequila.
@Kevin I needs to know what that "one kind" was mane 😂.. That seemed like the good good stuff...
@@coolrj55 Blanco Tequila
Mayate is the n word but in spanish, yeah its very offensive.
Órale is like saying Alright
Awesome disclaimer.
this was funny as fuck 😁
1:12:39 Ving Rhames and Danny Trejo
@Fall in my dreams thank you thank you I know the faces but I couldn't place the names. Now that Danny Trejo is my guy right there, he doesn't just act like a tough guy, but in real life, he is a tough guy 😂... And my guy Ving Rhames always brings it in everything I see him in. I just can't believe it was so many notable actors in this film...
Have u seen Ip Man?
@Wonder777 Hey, first, thanks for rocking with me over on the channel 🙌... Also, yes, sorry to say I have seen all the Ip Man films and was so blown away by them 😀 but I might do a live review for those films over on Twitch. O-da-lay is mostly good ,it just means "right"
It was a 100 dollars in that green jello.. wagers on games
@Steel City Productions now that's a slick creative way to move that money around they got going on in there... And if you'd like me to react to anything in particular, just list out a few movies here, and what I haven't seen will be added to my list... Also thanks for supporting the channel 👊...

@Radio XXIII very sorry about the late response and maaaaan I wish I could react to it but unfortunately saw it about 3 years ago randomly now 🤦♂️.. It was an amazing film with a really sad ending... Drop a few other movies you would like me to check out, and if I haven't seen it I'll put it on the list 👊👊...
Can you react to the movie mi vida loca please
@Connie thanks for the movie recommendation. I'll definitely check it out for sure 👌. You and a few other people picked this movie out, so I know it's gotta be good. I'll try to have it out as soon as possible 👊...
You blurred the whole video bro… I know you not tryna get copyrighted but damn bruh
👍👍👍
That sound cuting in and out sucks anyways ✌️
We speak spanglish. We speak English and Spanish mix
Órale has many meanings
@Edgar Morales I'm starting to see that as I go through more and more in these film's plus all of yalls comments also 😄.... It is very interesting how one word could mean so many different things it's something cool about that for some reason to me ... And thanks for rocking with me over here mane...
@@coolrj55 it all depends on the demeanor, facial expression, body language. You can tell if it’s meant as something negative or something positive.
Okay I can't listen anymore right off the bat you're calling Cruz his friend when it's his brother. You're watching the movie and you're not paying attention, how's that possible

Mayate = Black Brotha or N word
Lol, Orale is more like "alright". is that simple.
Orale means all right than. Chicano means Mexican American
You talk too much!
@adamalcocer878 hate to hear you didn't enjoy the video but I do give a disclaimer letting people know I give my thoughts and opinions in real-time while I'm watching a film while also being able to hear what's going on still due to the volume being very loud in my headphones. Also, the more commentary, the more of the film I can have in the reaction. I do hope you find better content 👍...

@Cristian Aragon maaaaan look mane all I know is every time that word is uttered I see fun happening and then I see a prison cell with a man name Popeye saying he want some Chon Chon whatever that is 😂😂 either way I don't want know parts 🤣
