I tried this with some of my dads old PS2 games that would freeze up when you tried to play them. After using this method, they work like they’re brand new. It really helps with fixing the scratches

Just know check if you have any see through scratches. if you can see through the disc at even the slightest you cant repair your disc doing any of these methods. one thing you can try is with ps4 im sure but there is also a fat chance with other consoles too. is try flipping your console sideways (stand it up) that for ps4 slim worked for me my disc was see through and scratched badly but it got played using this. ALSO TRY TAPPING ABOVE THE DISC DRIVE AREA ON YOUR CONSOLE

Please make it clear that the animation was acting funny from the episode, "My Big Fat Geek 💒". The same thing happened to me when I watched The Simpsons Season 2️⃣. I recall watching an episode of this animated sitcom which happened to be called, "Simpson & Delilah" if my memory serves me correctly. Suddenly, it cut off and acted funny. It's not easy being calm enough to fix the device when it won't eject. PLEASE upload that video tutorial when you get a chance. 🙏🏻

And it worked now i can play bo2 finally. I’m going to try with red dead 1 bc it doesn’t work. I am so glad this worked…… you dropped this 👑. The game had an update and i used it. but half way through it i canceled it and not it doesn’t work again
My boys. Tooth paste is just not good enough. You could buy polish paste for cars. The main thing is to get the least abrasive one. Like with the smallest particles available. But it depends. Like if you have deep scratches you will need medium particles, if it is just little surface scratches then you need small particles. But you can do it even better with toothpaste. Just bring your tennis ball instead of your fingers. It should do better. I recommend checking it on blank/old/useless cd discs before getting to the licensed games. They tend to have silicone like protective layer, which allows to be polished. If you outrun this layer on licensed games that will be bummer, because you will be tearing data layer. Which you don't want to do.
make sure you follow his instructions if you do try it tho, make sure it’s the white tooth paste that’s pasty not the gel, not sure how much the gel ones worked but the paste one is preferred, that’s what I used and it worked
Yes, it worked well for me, (they are alright now) a couple of discs from a sealed boxed set I had just bought ...some episodes of which froze intermittently, I had visions of having to send them back due to being faulty.

I recently got a used crash bandicoot 1 game. I thought it was broken because a while after I got it the game kept freezing at a certain point but it was just scratched. A little toothpaste did the trick! Ty I revived my game
This really really worked! I bought a game for my PlayStation on eBay. When it arrived it didn’t work properly, it kept skipping and then would completely freeze up. I figured I had nothing to lose so I tried this with the toothpaste. It works 100% now, no joke. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I had that same problem with my Princess and the Frog DVD today and it wouldn't stop skipping no matter how many times I tried cleaning it. The scene that does skip comes on at about 35 minutes into the movie.

On rare occasion while watching a dvd, my tv screen goes blank and it reads standby. I use my remote to engage the player and then I continue to watch. Wonder if you might know what's going on. If your consoles are freezing it might be that you need to free up space as in delete stuff so that you’re storage capacity isn’t full
