- This will work for about 70% of you out there. If your dvd game or movie is not scratched, damaged, not reading or freezes then try this simple method people have been doing since the start of cd's.

IamThePs3Gamer Beleive that I been having the same problem with my Star Trek game. I went to GameStop tonight got them to replace the DVD and by the time I put it on to test it out and it still froze on me.

Hello FunnyVman. Cool name. Hope you're staying safe. I have a question. I own a Sony dvd player, about 18 years old. Still works. On rare occasion while watching a dvd, my tv screen goes blank and it reads standby. I use my remote to engage the player and then I continue to watch. Wonder if you might know what's going on. Every time i try to play bo2 zombies it kicks me out the lobby and says disc corrupt or unreadable
I tried this with some of my dads old PS2 games that would freeze up when you tried to play them. After using this method, they work like they’re brand new. It really helps with fixing the scratches

My bo2 game disk was lightly scratched but i thought nothing about it. bu the disk would load on the home screen but when i went into the game it would freeze and not work. i tried everything even the tooth past. but then a few days later i decided to watch the video into detail. And it worked now i can play bo2 finally. I’m going to try with red dead 1 bc it doesn’t work. I am so glad this worked…… you dropped this 👑. The game had an update and i used it. but half way through it i canceled it and not it doesn’t work again
I've had plenty of problems with the Sony Blu-ray player in the office of our humble abode that was built in the '40s. The 📀 of The Simpsons Season 15 which was the 3rd disc cut off in the middle of the scene where Mrs. Krabappel was talking privately to Marge Simpson about her emotional situation. Please make it clear that the animation was acting funny from the episode, "My Big Fat Geek 💒". The same thing happened to me when I watched The Simpsons Season 2️⃣. I recall watching an episode of this animated sitcom which happened to be called, "Simpson & Delilah" if my memory serves me correctly. Suddenly, it cut off and acted funny. It's not easy being calm enough to fix the device when it won't eject. PLEASE upload that video tutorial when you get a chance. 🙏🏻

guys if anyone is watching this video right now or close to right now. Just know check if you have any see through scratches. if you can see through the disc at even the slightest you cant repair your disc doing any of these methods. one thing you can try is with ps4 im sure but there is also a fat chance with other consoles too. is try flipping your console sideways (stand it up) that for ps4 slim worked for me my disc was see through and scratched badly but it got played using this. ALSO TRY TAPPING ABOVE THE DISC DRIVE AREA ON YOUR CONSOLE
My prob is that the painted side is scratched but the cd itself is fine. tbh i dont know if this method works or not bc he didnt show it

I done it but it didn't work my dvd movie still freezes and the movie doesn't even looks scratched looks like new i did just bought it i believe is my dvd player cause all of my movies does that freezes and than continues sometimes it just freezes and don't continue playing the dvd movie my dvd player is a sony had it for like 6 to 7 years something like that but doesn't look dirty old or nothing looks like new i dont know but now i cant watch my movies same happens when i put all of my movies on my xbox 360 help please thanks!

You do not need to it will be fine blu ray reads the bottom not the top

I searched for ways to remove scratches on my PS3 disc (Black Ops 2) because it will just freeze when I try to play zombies. Whenever I start loading a map to it freezes or doesn't load. I've waited like half an hour and it didn't load one bit

Will this work on a Movie/tv DVD? because one of my dvds for a TV show I like to watch has buffering in some of the episodes (I am not going to tell you the name of the show but it is a Nickelodeon series) so will this work? I had that same problem with my Princess and the Frog DVD today and it wouldn't stop skipping no matter how many times I tried cleaning it. The scene that does skip comes on at about 35 minutes into the movie.
