    I dont understand one thing.
    If possible someone please explain.
    If a country is devaluing its currency, that means exports will increase and and the exporters gain.
    But during this process mostly country will pay in USD hence increasing American reserve and making their currency stronger.
    Secondly, devaluation of China's currency is good for them but what about the inflation that will occur?

    Isn't it that with devaluation of a country's currency that country's asset prices come down so as to attract foreign investments so how come investments are impacted negatively with devaluation

    • @swagatsubudhi1960
      @swagatsubudhi1960 Před 6 lety +1

      Ekta Sharma Firstly if there is devaluation and continuous fluctuations in Indian rupee value against dollar or any foreign currency investors will find it unsafe to invest in India due to the volatility in value of rupee thus making their investments less stable and more risky in terms of return of investment.. For instance if some US investor invests in rupee bond he will naturally want rupee value to appreciate against india so that he will get more redemption value in dollars. But if rupee devalues then he will get back less return in terms of dollars. So loss for him and he will hesitate to invest in India. Same is case for FIIs too
