Boba fett in Mandalorian: 🤺🔫😎
Boba fett in his own show: 🛀 🧽🫧
Polynesian spaaaaaaaa
it really sucks knowing that disney basically just gave his personality to the mandalorian
We need a redo of the Book of Boba Fett
Agreed.
@@PikaJayMason yeah
We need a complete overhaul of everything made after Rebels, honestly.
@@Gojirawars03 Yep.
They need to rewrite Bobas Book LOL
0:45 Damnit, I was expecting the _"Like a Bantha!"_ scene.
Fr, that tribe dance scene lowkey went hard what does he mean by that 😭
0:34
Boba:LİAR! İt was Dee Bradley Baker, mine is Temuera Morrisan!
0:34
Don't lie, Bo. You only heard the voice of Dee Baker
Yeah, exactly.
I get the joke. But both men's voice are the same voice in universe.
His introduction in Mandalorian had so much potential.
I blame Disney for what they did to Boba Fett's character.
And Luke and Han
Me too. He's a lot better in Legends.
Ya'll got Disney living rent-free in your heads
@@jocro8090 I mean, they are writing Star Wars shows, and movies which are trash
@@A.jmmmm04 So did George Lucas.
To me, this story should've been chronological, not "flashback-modern day". I think the flashback scenes were good, but they clearly didn't make it with intent to make it so short. Like, the amount of character development would be much more natural than forcing it between effectively two timelines.
I find it funny how after 2 hours he escaped the sarlacc pit, chilled with the Tusken Raiders for 10 YEARS(The time between Return of the Jedi and The Mandalorian), then decides to get his armor back after they die instead of getting it anytime before.
3-5 years, not 10.
@@grandmoffjake6871 ye I mixed up ep 4 timeline with ep 6
After the quest to get back the armour it never should have come off again. Maybe a few scenes between him and fenic in private. But certainly not in public. The armour is fett, fett is the armour.
A second season of BBF that is set during the days of the empire would be awesome. Boba Fett traveling the galaxy doing cool bounty hunter shit. Throw in a Vader cameo, maybe Bossk and Beckett too.
that cafe scene is so underrated.
I enjoyed this character progression, personally.
If I were in charge of writing a Boba Fett series, I would’ve had it be a 501st Journal-style show that sees Boba Fett documenting his various missions, whether it’s hunting down Imperial Deserters or Jedi who’ve survived Order 66.
The Mandalorian nailed what he should be and you could even go further tbh. I get they have their baby boy Din now because they really couldn't use Boba but Din is closer to how Boba should be than Boba is to himself in the BoBF. I would have rather he just be a side character like he was in that Mando season or just kill him off and let Slave 1 go to Din than to see what he was in BoBF. Boba isn't a crime boss certainly not right off the bat. They could have gone down that road in like Season 2 or 3 of BoBF and it woulda worked better. What really really irritates me is Fett is the OG he is the reason we have The Mandalorian show and everything related to Mandalore and all of its lore all because that character had so many fans when the OT came out, yet they just treat him like crap in his own show while fans have been waiting decades to finally see this character take some light on screen.
Then they ghosted him in Season 3 of The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch. There have been tons of rumors about Filoni being anti-Boba, and they’re starting to hold up very well.
i hope they do better if they ever did another season. also they need to find a good way to revive cade bane its bullshit that we really didnt get that of him in live action
If there is a season 2 of Book of Boba Fett, the best way they can mend the "damage" so to speak is to slow build Boba back into the badass he is. Justify it by saying when he became a ruler, he became "soft" as an acknowledgement. But in a hypothetical S2, he becomes more hands on and no nonsense. That way if there is an S3 (purely hypothetical), Boba is built up and nobody would be thinking about S1 as much.
I just don’t think he’s meant to be a main character
he can be, but someone behind the scenes wanted him to be a hero rather than someone in the middle.
It’s entirely possible, he can be a great main character. Problem is Disney is unwilling to make the protagonist a villainous character which in this case is extremely detrimental.
I disagree he has had amazing stories in legends centered around him and has one of the best stories in Star Wars at least in my opinion
@@Isaacisaperson4677 if it was just incompetent show making for BoBF
@@spider-jeff_101 what?
Some People: "No, Boba Fett is supposed to be a morally gray bounty hunter working for money, they ruined his character, screw Disney."
Me: "Well, I'll be. After the near-death experience Boba had, he changed and improved his life, becoming a leader figure and gaining trust from others. How nice."
"Its just not the boba fett we were hoping for" No, No we hated it.
I agree a 100 percent with you. Two options IMO: a second season of BOBF, this time Boba done right (story-wise, it woudl be zero problem. It was already hinted at that the whole Daimyo thing did not sit quite right with him in season 1). Or an R-rated Boba Fett movie, continuing his streak from "The Mandalorian".
What I expect Disney to do though: ignore Boba Fett completely, trying to replace him entirely with the shiny guy. And yes, I am by now mostly over Din Djarin and Grogu. To me, the real Mandalorian is Boba Fett. Prepare to never see Temuera Morrison again as Boba Fett.
Exactly!
Boba is a badass and the muscle but in his own show he is weaker than his sidekick
He can always revert. Seems like he was edging that way at the end of the series anyway
I feel The Book of Boba Fett should be about Boba clean and wipe the entire Hutt clan out of the galaxy, that kind of crime war in Star Wars would be way cooler than what we got, this series would hightlight Boba as a bounty hunter and a warrior he is
Boba Fett has been wasted for years. He was supposed to be the best bounty hunter in the Empire Era, but now we have The Mando, Shand, even Bane surviving into the Empire Era. We should have had Boba killing Cad Bane at the end of the clone wars, passing on the torch.
Because of Filoni and his ego. Ahsoka before Luke, Cad and Fennec before Boba, his Rebels crew before Han, Leia, and Chewbacca. Filoni is an overrated clown with an ego bigger than his cowboy hat.
I enjoyed watching him like start from almost scratch like from zero to hero
but now that he got his stuff back it would be a perfect time to make another season with what we expect him to be like a one man army
He could have came back as a better bounty hunter

Star Wars Content: *Hello There!!!!*
they should’ve done an animated series with boba, they could have done a ton with the same budget
LIKE A BANTHA
He needs a second season
I love the Book of Boba Fett but yeah, it's not the direction they should've gone with him....
Gee what would bo katan say about boba NOW since yknow apperently shes the CHOSEN ONE
Like a Bantha
am I the only one that liked the book of boba Fett?
It kind of reminds me of when Homer Simpson saw a TV show featuring a badass "police cop" with his name, only to learn that the cop became dumber and more pathetic as the show went on.
Except, Boba and I don't have the same name.
I really liked the tusken raider thing in the first few episodes
Yup they ruined it, she wouldnt last a minute against boba
Think my boi boba needs another season. With how it ended, i think even boba figured he wasnt someone who could lead a town. I think given the entourage he found himself with at the end of the show. He could be a solid clan leader. Not for a group of civilians, but a group of his own mandalorian warriors. The way of mandalore need not always be of just humans. As shown in mando woth grogu. Would be cool to see BKK brought into his own clan. Pretty sure he owes boba a life debt anyways
Doesn’t help that they forget who the show is supposed to be about for nearly half of it.
Never try to civilize an anti hero. It’s like trying to invite The Punisher over for Thanksgiving dinner, that’s not who that character is or what he should be doing. He does his business and leaves.
I have been saying this since BoBF first came out! There is no excuse for Boba to be such a terrible fighter, not to mention such a terrible leader!
We had a spark of hope with The Mandalorian for the Star Wars franchise! BoBF really brought the disappointment back!
Could have been Star Wars's Breaking Bad but instead they went with formulaic trash.
I loved the book of boba fett
He’s not a badass in the movies, he’s a pushover, a fraud in terms of skill. I’d rather him earn being badass, cause it just feels weird otherwise.
There was shed loads of character development. Just not the kind you wanted I guess. Can you describe the kind of character development you wanted to see? If people wanted him to be being badass the whole time how would that be character develop?
Would've been even better if Boba threw in a few jabs of Bo Katan like:
Bo Katan: "You are a Disgrace to that Armor."
Boba: "And You're a disgrace to your Sister."
I mean Bo Katan is a terrorist, a murderer, the one who got her own sister killed and got Mandalor destroyed. Boba could've burned her better with his words than any flamethrower could.
There should be a scene for the rise of the empire what happened to boba fett is up to ):
Hi
Hello there
Considering how Filoni treated Fett in clone wars, i was unsurprised how BOBF turned out. I was hoping for more season 2 of Mandalorian version of Fett, but it looks like Filoni wasn't writing that.
Then the clown makes a show centered around Boba’s random sister, and makes her more essential and important than Boba, while ghosting Boba throughout the whole series while having Fennec and Cad Bane in there. Filoni hates Boba, and it’s become so obvious. Why are the Fetts receiving less content than all of the other Clones, Mandalorians, and Bounty Hunters when they’re the OG’s who created all of it? Because of Dave Filoni.
I rather liked it myself, I grew up watching the original trilogy and the prequels and I still enjoy where they are going. I was somewhat disappointed in the recent trilogy but they were still okay movies they just weren’t what people wanted. I didn’t want them either, I wanted the heir to the empire follow-up to be made or the Jedi search books to be adapted, something that continued the story picking up right after but they aren’t my books and they aren’t our movies. We need to enjoy what we have because at least we have something. A whole lot of good franchises don’t get movies or shows made in them anymore, at least Star Wars is still around. For the record I hate Disney and what they do to franchises, I do enjoy Star Wars still though and the shows they put out.
There were so many problems I had with that show. As a character, he was way too old from how he was supposed to be in the timeline was aside from the stomach acid scarring. He should’ve been at least in his mid-30s he looks completely different from how he did in return of the Jedi. They over, exaggerated the biker gang, they were just a bunch of brats he could’ve easily handled and their character designs were wack there was nothing intimidating about them. Rather than being a competent leader, they made Boba seem like a seamless old man that doesn’t know anything about leadership and had his assistant point out everything for him. Mandalorian stole the show literally. And the action scenes were atrocious. It felt like something that came out of the CW.
I think you're alone in hating on the sand people arc.
He's not
He's seriously not
Was it executed fairly well? Yeah sure, the second episode is my favorite of the series. Was it what we wanted to see or wanted Fett to become? No. But that isn’t really the main problem of the show, current timeline Fett is where they fucked up even more.
We know. Series came out like 3 years ago. Let it go mate.
We will never forgive we will never forget
It’s not that I hated the book of boba fett
I hated it
You and many other fans wanted him to be an action figure. In that Mando episode everyone loves to bring up, none of those stormtroopers he killed fired back and him. Calling that the "Boba Fett we wanted to see completely lacks any substance. I dont think the show was good after the tuskens died, so until i hear a better premise for the show rather than what we got, i think he should've just stayed gone.
bro you didn't like the tusken raiders arc?! you sound kindy whiny, it was better than y'all make it out to be
Maybe Boba should have stayed a side character and never got a show
What was the arc, if not this turn? I’ll admit this wasn’t optimal TV, but I know you’re not big on episodic, bounty-of-the-week “filler” stuff, so how could Boba’s character have compellingly changed except in this anti-hero turn?
I mean, it's just that Boba went from an independent killer with a code of honor to a total softy who refused to kill anybody, and tried to resolve every single problem peacefully and only resorting to in extreme cases.
It's not so much the direction his character went, but how far away he went almost immediately because some Tuskan Raiders died. If the show was better paced and had his progression more over time, I think I at least would have liked it much more.
what was the arc in general? The show never gave him a reason for his actions or desires, or better to say the reasons do not connect narratively with the story or character.
The change should have been him learning to deal as a boss and not a mercenary. Becoming a good guy is not the only character arc possible in fiction.
They kinda ruined Din in Mando season 3 by de developing his character and making him a simp. Bro had one training session with the darksaber and gave up after that. Such a waste. And that training session happened in the book of boba fett
jango isn’t his dad
Yes he is
Yes he is
Nah i hated BoBF speak for yourself that show was asss
Even if they had to rip off the EU, the Book of Boba Fett should really have been about him running into his estranged daughter.
Fine with me
