- 1975-76 was Bob Paisleys second season in charge of Liverpool and that season they won the league title on the last game of the season and also the UEFA Cup {now called the Europa League} in what was then a two legged final against Bruges.
This video is a re-uploaded compilation of as many games as I could find from Liverpools 75-76 campaign. Since posting the original video, I have found a few new games and thought it best to re-upload. Apologies for the lack of games and variable picture quality....it is 40 years ago Im afraid. Thanks to various youtube posters for some of the footage such as Dave Waller, gr8footy, Fcbretro. The rest comes from my dvd collection.

Brilliant video. Keegan has his place in Liverpool folklore. To me if he would have stayed the club would have still maintained its success 🙌

To me I will always put Keegan before Dalglish
Keegan started the 70s team and what we acheived
Wembley 77 will always bug me but Rome 5 days later made it better
me too, gutted by Wembley - that Greenhof goal was a total fluke. But Emlyn was such a great captain, remotivating the team and spurring them on to victory against 'Gladbach so soon afterwards. And yes, Keegan was just unstoppable at times, as Vogts found out!
I think everyone, the club, the players and the fans were totally focused on Rome. In a way the FA cup final was a distraction and losing it just made them all the more determined to win the European Cup

Fantastic,I was at the 3all draw with Ipswich,at Anfield,I was an 11 year old on holiday from Australia, my first Anfield experience, amazing.my grandfather lived in St Helens and used to send me all the cuttings from the Echo and the Express, I was very keen
Football was real back then
No live T.V. then ... just BBC Radio Merseyside or Radio City [Local] and BBC Radio Sport On 2 [National] that tv footage was from I.T.V.'s The Midweek Match, I will never forget that save by Ray Clements [and the way he skipped up after it] against Dynamo Dresden in the U.E.F.A. Cup... that Steve Kindon goal for Wolvs at Wolvs, Liverpool wait until 15 mins until the end and scored three ... Lambert's goal for Bruges at Bruges and Keegan smaks that free kick in and then labouring for the other 75 minutes ... seems like yesterday.
Interesting to see the newsreel clips of the 3-2 Anfield win against Spurs (from 2-0 down), and even the 3-1 home defeat to Norwich!
Smashing times! Fairclough was an awesome sub. I was lucky enough to see him score two late goals to wrap up the game at Main Road that year, which LIverpool won 3-0. He ran rings round Tony Book!
thanks for the feedback.....when I was compiling these videos it is one of the pivitol games of the season which won us the title....sadly I could find no archive footage of the game but im glad at least you have the memories of that game and a breathtaking season!

Why does no one mention this game as one of Liverpool's best ever comebacks? Coming back to win the league away from home like that so late on in the game
