A surrealist, dadaistic, even post-contemplationist spoof of slow-moving Gothic soap operas of the 1970s: it's Grave Mood Rings, a weird intersection in the universe of Prof. Oddfellow's Penetralia.

D says, "Be careful out in the woods, Viscount - the owls are not what they seem!"
He also says, "What are you guys doing in the woods at night with only a flashlight? Shooting The Blair Vitchmik Project?" 🤣
Great seeing this beautiful song again, D's ahem ribbing aside.
Thank you! Yes, it's the wiser night-owls who avoid the woods in the dark. Very much a Blair Vitchmik Project, indeed!
A great trip to the unowned, and yet so familiar 🥹👍✨
Many thanks, 𝙂Ⓞ🌞𝕯 Ⓢ𝓘𝕽 𝕊𝒾𝕲𝓕𝔘𝓢‼ As big fans of your own music, we're honored to share with you.
It’s clearly not easy to sing with those giant fangs but he does a bang up job
Thank you! The teeth cut into his gums as he wears them, but I suppose a vampire character tasting blood while he speaks is vérité. 🧛🏻♂️
Sweetly, Gothily, beautifully done, gentlemen. Gorgeous.
Thank you kindly! So glad you dig the grave moods!
The intro start to become increasingly more hypnotic and haunting...as if it's not just crawling under my skin but find it's way into my veins...Should I be worried or feel comfortable because I'll be one of you soon?
Well, we hope you'll feel as comfortable entering the Grave Mood Rings universe as we feel comfortable inviting you in! Glad to hear that the title sequence is hypnotically haunting, as that's exactly what we set out to achieve.🧛🏻♂️
I finally watched the movie "Straight Outta Nowhere." It's the Courage/Scooby-Doo crossover movie. Nothing, Arizona reminds me of Nowhere, Kansas where Courage the cowardly dog lives. This song in particular reminds of something that would be on the show.
Nothing, Arizona and Nowhere, Kansas must surely be sister cities, eh? Thanks for checking this out, KlingonCaptain! Always great to hear from you!
For all his daily grumblings, the Count's a sensitive soul.
So true! Thanks for checking this one out!
It's very sweet! My favourite Dracula vibes ❤
Yay! Thank you so much, Dimi! Really appreciate it!
Yikes!!! It's dark out there! Nicely done !
Yes, a spooky forest for a spooky song! Thank you, Donna!
What did I click to deserve this magnificent recommend?
Ah, thank you ever so much for this lovely comment! 🧛🏻♂️
An entertaining and clever take on Freezepop's song, we enjoyed it. Nice teamwork to make this music clip as well. ~Masha and Rob
Thank you, Masha and Rob! We had fun, and it was *brisk* on the mountaintop that night!
If MTV would show videos like this, they would still be a cultural force. Don't @ me.
Many thanks!
No one *should* @ you. You're absolutely right!
The poor Viscount needs a total eclipse to freeze in time and place, then he could walk the earth with gay abandon
Thank you for using the phrase "gay abandon," which needs to pop up more often. 😜 Yes, a total eclipse would come in very handily.
DAMN BOY YOU ARE CHURNING THESE OUT!! GREAT JOB
Indeed! We're having fun! 👻
We love this!
Thank you so much! 🧛🏻♂️
The Viscount has no problem with candlelight, but does with sunlight. Is it just a matter on intensity, or are there qualitative differences?
In my understanding, it's the ultraviolet rays of sunlight and full-spectrum lightbulbs that vampires are allergic to. Also, unlike the sun, incandescent bulbs and candlelight don't contain what many mythologies consider the Eye of God.
Lovely song, and it has a definite 70s vibe. Or do I mean found footage?
Yeah, the whole found-footage-horror style was not technically intentional, but it's there no matter!
@@ProfessorOddfellow On second watch and listen, this is very bootiful music, and heartfelt.
We were going for both things you mentioned, so ... *result*! Thank you!
