When you think about it both Nick & Ric had similar "characters" the I am BETTER than you type, but while growing up I loved Flair I actually think Nick pulls it off so much better. He was more articulate & rarely ever resorted to shouting which comes across as better than you persona. When you resort to the yelling and screaming that Flair used to do it showed you he was getting flustered. Nick never got flustered to the point of screaming.

Bockwinkel was, in real life, a very articulate individual with wonderful command of the english language. He was exceptionally intelligent, and no one in the sport could hold a candle to him when it came to expressing yourself. It's a bit of a shame, given his chosen profession, that these qualities pretty much forced him to come off as a snob. Check out some of the interviews of him "out of character". Very impressive stuff.
