      Great sounds! Do you think you could upload the actual Polybrute presets you used? Assuming they aren't factory ones. I have a PB so I'd much rather buy the presets than samples for a synth I already have :)

      The registration page on your website is broken.
      It never makes the button available to click, regardless of field completion.
      This means nothing can be downloaded from your site and this vid is useless for anyone not already registered to the website.
      Please fix

    SampleRobot is a hidden gem! It can also sample VST's, completely automated mind you. The only caveat it is HAS to be the top tier version for this. But it essentially means all of your favorite wacky synths are suddenly sound sources for a Kontakt library.

    The Euroburo is just unbelievably useful. Its potentially a game changer for anyone who has a couple semi-modular synths and wants to get more into the modular world without buying a whole rack and thousands of dollars worth of modules. The fact that you can use it as both an effects processor and a CV mangler at the same time is just so incredibly convenient.

  • @UltraD52
    @UltraD52 Před 2 lety +2

    Thanks for another great addition to the Pianobook library. A couple thoughts... I think it would be nice to have the more distorted patches and the smoother ones separated in some way, even if by patch name (instead of just with numbers.) It's hard to know what they are by the current names you have. Also, if you ended up expanding on this, more of the less-distorted variety would be great. This is such a great sounding synth. Running through the Empress is a cool idea. More of that please.

Good shout on Sample Robot, I've been finding the autosample feature on my Akai MPC One really helpful. This looks even better for Kontakt/Decent library. • @bricelory9534
      @bricelory9534 Před 2 lety

      @@lardosian you can, absolutely! It can do a great deal of unexpected things if you have different ideas....for instance, I made mine allow me to control my synth with my voice, then bring the sound back in to add reverb and effects, as just one of my presets, others I have 7 loopers sequenced to go at different rates for a weird glitchy delay effect, and things like that
      It takes some learning, but there are a lot of good CZcams videos teaching you the basics. And once you start using it, the UI becomes really intuitive - you just make connections by pressing the two parameters you want to be related (for signal path as well as modulation).
      Honestly I am amazed at what it can do for $400 bucks (for the pedal version, the Eurorack version is $600, which is still a really good deal!)

    Heads up: when changing presets in the top, some settings get stuck (a whole lot of reverb and or release) - which causes the presets to sound radically different and much louder than they do if I preselect them instead of using the arrows at the top in DecentSampler. I think you should look into that.
    Amazing sounds! but that GUI error really ruins the experience when switching presets. Maybe it only happens with me? I can send you a recording of it if you want. I use DecentSampler 1.5.9 VST3

    Huge thanks for doing this Cameron. Very kind of you to offer it for free. I think I can safely say my Saturday afternoon is now fully booked. :)

    Cameron, you are awesome. I have been watching your videos for over a year now and find them so helpful and cool and I love your dry sense of humour, not too much unlike my own!! I have all of your Decent Sampler instruments and love them all. I make Gothic Horror music as A Time Of Shadows and have found a lot of use from your earlier Decent Sampler instruments, but now you've made one that specifically has some darker sounds......Thank You, I will definitely be using this one too. Thank you for your beautifully well made videos and you awesome teaching method. Keep up the excellent work on your fabulous videos and thank you again for being you and being awesome.

      @@VenusTheory I thought I had Subscribed, but that was my personal channel, so I have now subbed with A Time Of Shadows too, as I watch more stuff on this channel now, than I do my personal. Yes your channel has been and continues to be a gold mine of info. Thank you.

    _"I was gonna' name it something like proton decay . . . "_
    Protons don't decay, well at least not though any process we are aware of, there are a couple of hypothetical processes, but even these would require timescales of around x100000000000000000000000000 the age of the universe ! So ~10^26 x the age of the universe (which itself is 10^10 year) . . . translation: Protons don't decay : )

      Exactly haha - that was why I figured it was an interesting library name, just too much of a mouth full and Hawking Radiation just sounds weird.
