U of T Talks: To Engineer(,) Be Human (Prof. Philip Asare)

When we talk about engineering, we often focus on the technologies that are the result of the engineering activity. However, technologies don’t make themselves; people do, and this has a profound implications for the way we do engineering and how the results affect society. This talk will explore this people-centric perspective of engineering and discuss some of the implications for the engineering profession, engineering education, and the relationship between engineering and society (including matters of equity, diversity, and inclusion)
