ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

I love how instead of dismissing or mocking their interests/hobbies, both do their best to show appreciation. Namely, in the wedding deposit montage, Jake saying the thing about the flowers and Amy having a Nakatomi plaza cake.

You can tell the stake out was THE turning point in their relationship, because before then they seemed genuinely annoyed of each other and insults were meant to hurt, but afte the stake out it changed to like playful and flirty fighting. They fell in love on a rooftop, throwing nuts into their mouths and it was absolutely beautiful
Love bow Rosa giggling to mock Amy is actually Stephanie using her real voice.
The rooftop scene was basically Andy and Melissa bonding lol, love their chemistry!!!

This show was great because it had a couple that genuinely liked each other and tried to like the others interests (jake read HP Amy watched die hard) they even had fun before they started dating which made their relationship MEAN something.
Jake and Amy are perfect for eachother, they are they healthiest relationship in TV so far. They get kinky for eachother, and both of them attempt to explore each other’s interests. Like when Jake read Harry Potter, and Amy watched Die hard.

one of My favorites is the scene where Amy tells Jake why she transferred to the nine - nine. It was so important to both of their characters and really cemented their relationship.

Jake and Amy in Trying, their wedding and Lights out are just the absolute cutest, love those eps sm. 🥰
Also, I get that they're intended to be funny but I don't really like seeing Jake get hurt by Amy (eg when she twists his arm and in the heists, casecation etc) as I love him and Peraltiago as a ship SO much and they're lovely and funny together so hurting him just feels kinda unfair with everything that he goes through in the show.

One of the best scenes is in the episode where Jake can’t solve a very bloody case. So he abscesses over it and he eventually goes home and pretends that Amy is the dead body! She wakes up screaming because he is holding a knife over her!

This is the first and only show i rewatched. Brilliant writing and cast of characters.
As much as I love the wedding proposal (and I do, its one of my favorite scenes in the whole series), I still rank "Finding Amy" up there quite high. Not only is it a testament to how well Jake knows Amy to track her down, but the source of Amy's anxieties was not the test but fear the promotion would ruin her relationship. That whole episode just shows how perfect these two are for each other.
Where's the "Your butt is the bomb, there will be no survivors" scene?
After having watched "destined couple" type stories numerous times, this feels like one of the most properly done out of all of them! This is realistic, takes the correct amount of time and includes ups and downs in an appropriate amount!
whoever came up with the idea of ending this video with Charles passing out is the most amazing human/genius

Love B99. Sometimes I just watch random episodes when I'm waiting around for family to be ready.
Will always have a soft spot for these two. I'm so, so glad the creators & writers didn't jerk us around with the "will they-won't they" route throughout every season and decided to instead show a healthy, pure relationship built on friendship, mutual respect, trust and genuine love.
We all deserve a Jake or Amy in our lives
