You can start at the LOWER TRAILHEAD and hike about 10 minutes, half a mile, 200 Ft. up, to the Swing. (Coordinates: 33.785662,-118.411971). Closest cross streets Palos Verdes Dr. West & Apsley Rd.)
You can start at the UPPER TRAILHEAD and hike about 10 minutes, half a mile, 200 Ft. down, to the Swing. (Coordinates: 33.792486,-118.399154. Paseo del Sol cul-de-sac

*There is another hidden spot in this hike, the trail is between the Lookout Point, in the beginning, and the Swing.There are Nets you can relax on. It is secluded so I would not recommend if you are hiking solo. Coordinates 33.789176,-118.408006
*There are NO porta potty or water fountains at the trailhead so plan accordingly.
*There is NO PARKING FEE/PERMIT REQ. however, read Signs. There is additional Parking by the Lower Trailhead on Palos Verdes Dr. West & Paseo del Mar

as of recent terms ( june 2nd, 2021) the swing has been cut or someone broke it. still a very nice trail with a pretty view.

If I may add hiking UP from lower trail is a bit sketchy as cyclists come flying down the singletrack. They start in upper trail which is also called Dave's Trail.
Update: this has been removed.

Execssive people is whyy they cut it. Locals cant enjoy theirnown spots anymore.
Is the lower trail or upper trailer easier?
I think the lower, but just by a hair. Btw, there are mountain bikers n the lower one is more open.
Hike up farther to the very top amd there is a tree litetslly on the top with another swing on it. U can swing insanely high amd far out.
