The boys got on last night and we all got hyped to go to the Ashlands. We get on a longboat and sail off: swarmed by bonemaw, running into rocks, boiling alive😂 Round 2 went a lot better thanks to you, cheers!

Pffff....that slow boat is totaly skipable. There is a risky way to get to ashlands.
Be sure you have on you:
Portal mats
Workbench mats
Stonecutter mats
What you do is to use your normal boat and get on edge of the red water (if possible with no snakes araund). Now you wait for a wind that goes south, so you have full speed in sails.
You rush with your boat to spikes and try to get as far in as possible, before your boat burns. Now you jump from one spike (and another) and into a water (max 30 sec) till you reach a area with a building that is comes out of water. This is a spot where you will set up your portal. Be sure you enclose it on top so fire wont burn it. Those building spawns are just far away enogh from normal skeletons and all you will have to deal with is birds (seperents cant do crap to you if you sit on spikes).
For next stage i recomend you put all your gear into base and take out a cheap and troweable away troll armor. Eat 2 stamina and 1 hp food. Now the goal is to find the dwarf village. You bait the enemy skeletons in dwarf village and after they are all dead from trash, you steal flammetal from crates.
Fighting enemys is a total waste of time as the respawns there are insane. Just run and explore as much as you can (and die).
Your next goal is to find a fort. When you find a fort, take out as much stone as you can carry and raise mud walls araund. (watchout for fire slimes)
Place portal (as there is high chance of dying). Raise ground next to fort and simply jump into it and clean up every enemy. Now just move portal inside (where fire cant reach), you will have to dig under middle area and you have a perfect main base that no1 cant reach it.
You will have to kill the queen tho if you want the fire protection buble araund your base or you will have to build everything with a stone.

Normal boats get destroyed way too fast and some shores take way too long to get too. Also you really want to bring the best gear you got, once you hit ashlands you’ll see why. If you’re wanting to try to skip content then I guess you can try this. Best of luck

@@LateNightStream It lasts 100 seconds as it takes 1% per second. So yeah you do need wind and a good area where you can see spikes close.
