Was your airbnb neighborhood in barranco safe ? Some streets look renovated with lots of new buildings and there are others that look kinda sketchy around that place.
Yes! We felt very safe, even walking around at midnight. The park was always busy with people working out and kids playing during the day. There's enough street lights and people out at restaurants in the area at night, so we really didn't worry. And we walked everywhere. The neighborhoods were very quiet in our area too. It was just the main road that was loud.
