- So here's something a little different; a montage of every insult that King Koopa has said in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, alphabetized for your viewing pleasure. I thought about also including the ones from AoSMB3 and Super Mario World, but I felt like the video was long enough just using clips from the Super Show.
This list was inspired by the A-Z insults list for Shredder and Dr. Robotnik. You should check those out too, if you enjoyed this.

- The only letters that didn't get insults were Q, U and X.
- P was the most commonly used letter for insults.
- "Faucet Freaks" was the most commonly occurring insult at 17 uses, followed by "pesky plumbers" with 9 uses.
- The episode with the most insults in it was episode 34, "Mario Meets Koop-zilla."

I like how almost every single one of his insults involve abnormally alluring alliteration. An exceptional escapade of language that's easy on the ears.

This was the hardest loss. If he didn’t pass away, he most likely would’ve been Bowser in the movie.
i learned recently he also did the voice of Sam from the Sam and Max cartoon and it blew my mind
As much as I love Bowser’s modern voice, this one is just great.

All these years later, Harvey Atkin remains unmatched as Bowser, imo
@@paulbowen9701 Agreed. Harvey's a legend, and somewhat of a celebrity in Canada. If you ever saw a picture of the guy, you'd be amazed how such a perfectly evil voice comes out of him. He's pretty much the only voice actor that played the same character in all three DIC Mario cartoons, and it's not hard to see why.

The fact he said Simp way before we discovered it shows that King Koopa was ahead of his time

Back then, Simp was suppose to be short for Simpleton. If people were to refer to people who are sympathetic, it should be spelled “symp”.

@@robbiewalker2831 nope, simp was around in the 80's and had the same definition as it does today. you can hear it in media/songs from those times. it only got popular very recently

The "buttinsky" part got funnier each time he said it!
I miss when Bowser was this creative with insults, instead of always resorting to calling the Mario Crew chumps.
King Koopa even used Princess Toadstool's name in a bad pun: "Toadstooge". Make an antagonist angry, and he gets creative.

I kinda wish king koopa was featured more he’s really funny
He’s just a hybrid of Bowser and Wart, but it would be funny if Bowser fused with K. Rool to get the same affect… perhaps with the occasional additional cape (King Koopa wore a red cape in the McMario episode and “Never Koop a Koopa”).
Holy crap he looks good in those outfits. Especially the Egyptian one.
This is before Nintendo acknowledges the existence of various media as continuity nods, through KC comics (the mention of different looks and names), Mario Party (the aliases Bowser had similar to this show) and Super Mario Odyssey (the Globetrotting concept). Heck, let’s not forget that Donkey Kong ‘94 shares a similar idea with Supercade DK in terms of the globetrotting concept as well (and to an extent of the KC comics, Pauline being an Circus Gorilla Tamer).
Imagine this was the voice of bowser today

I still remember Koopa screaming at Mario and Luigi "YOU GODDAMN PLUMBERS!!!" lol I realize now no way he did, but i was a just a kid and that's how I interpreted it.

I remembered Koopa saying "Damn right!" in the (edit) Great Gold Rush episode. Probably not what he really said, but it sure sounds like it even today.
The more I look back on this show, the more I'm convinced that King Koopa was the best part about it. I'm so glad that he was the only character whose voice actor reprised his role throughout all three of the DiC series (incidentally, Toad was the only other voice to be reprised for Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, but the character himself didn't return for Super Mario World).

These are one of the reasons I knew Bowser was going to be my favorite character because he's the type of person that's not going to take mess from nobody he do as he pleases

It’s like the same scene, too. Bowser is dressed up weirdly in an old outfit and then pulls a lever on a yellow wall, with a purple and orange triangular banner on the top right.

leeroy jetson I was being serious. There were more insults that was in the later series, but red chose not to include them for no reason, other than “it’s already too long”, when the Robotnik version was over 20 minutes long.
