I really appreciate the work you put in LVD, it's no small task to do that intro explaining every dam card in a 100 card deck every Historic Brawl video.
That was my main problem with brawl prior to the release of this set, everyone was playing atraxa and etali and they weren’t in hell queue so it was just such a painful time if you were doing goofy things instead of being tied to meta cards.
@@Asian_Caleb at least with Etali, there was a chance they hit one of their ramp cards and a insignificant card from my deck that's there for synergy. Enjoy my Star Pupil opponent 😜
@@Asian_Caleb Since the release of ONE, MOM and Aftermath, my Brawl experience has been atrocious. I can't believe my janky Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice Boros Tribal gets in the same queue as Atraxa, Etali, Imoti, etc... like come on...
@@TheSmartCinema yeah I have no issue with people playing those decks I just don’t want to get paired against something that powerful against my jank pile lol. I wish there was ranked brawl so there was a place for the sweaty people to go instead of the flighty hell queue.

Woooo Luca is back! And a historic brawl deck even! This deck looks like so much fun and provides a lot of VALUE xD And whats even more exciting is that Tom Bombadil is next!!!! He is literally my favorite character from the LotR books! I remember being so disappointed he didn't even make it into the movie adapation 😭
33:33 I'm pretty sure you had lethal even though they conceded. Fleetfoot Dancer would have pumped Aragorn to 9/9, would have pinged for 3, and would attack itself for 4. That's 16 and Tamiyo can tap the blocker. Aragorn seems super fast. Great deck!
I don't remember the part in the trilogy where aragorn fights together with a giant ape and a turtle/dinosaur thing... I'll have to watch it all again just to be sure

Just ran out my Aragorn the Uniter Commander Deck for the first time today - so a great video to watch after! Historic Brawl Content tends to be a bit one sided - as often you just overwhelm the opponent without them ever having a real grip on the game. That’s why I often don’t finish these videos :/ Still love seeing interesting brews though!
33:15 you could have played partners, which would have pumped aragorn to a 9/9, which would reduce great henge to GG, which you would be able to cast as you hadn't played a land for turn yet.
Considered it, but since it doesn't fix for your nonlegendery spells I didn't include it. Outside of Wash Away I'm usually not too worried about counterspells either. Still definitely a solid card in the deck!

There's enough games in the videos, it's just unfortunate that most players concede immediately as soon as they feel they're behind. A lot of these games feel like they end right when they were getting started.
Meh the abilities are pretty unique at least. Most 5 color commanders are just some variation of draw cards. This one does a bunch of stuff but it's really just a sample of all 4 colors best attributes
A deck where every spell you cast provides a lot of value, provides a lot of value.
Seeing mechanically how Arwen gives up her immortality to save Aragorn is so damn flavourful! Man, I freaking love this set!!

I'd throw in a Delighted Halfling in the mana ramp section, mana of any color for legendary spells and it makes them uncounterable
It's good with Aragorn, although won't always help with some of the other multicolor cards.
Potentially still worth it though.

I did consider Prismari Command but it was one of the last few cuts.
We can't play with Kolaghan's Command so there's not a ton of great options left.

Yup, that's a sweet line, Fleetfoot Dancer is another way to present lethal so there was no lack of great options.

Didn't face any other Saruman decks while playing this, so may have been someone else.

What a bland deck... multicolor goodstuff isnt anything new in brawl. The commander being a LotR character doesnt make it suddenly interesting
