This short flim achieved in a few minutes what Spiderman Lotus couldn't in 2 hours full of empty dialogues and pretentiousness. I like it.

This gets Spider-man right. It's jaw dropping how two people on a roof having a conversation is as griping and inspiring as Raimi's first two films, Spectacular Spider-man, and even the new game!
This is what you get when you strip down all the VFX and just focus on story. Left me breathless.

I have a friend that commited suicide recently. This film touched me a lot. I can't stop imagining or hoping there is a Spider-Man kind of person there to help him get back down at that moment.

The living proof on How Good Dialogue can Handle a Story
This needs to be adapted into an official Marvel comic or something… Spider-Man does things like this so sparingly in official media and it absolutely needs more representation.
I'm pretty sure this was adapted from an official Spiderman comic but also I didn't bother to fact-check so take this with a grain of salt

Spider-Man's power isn't that he can lift 10 tons, or crawl on walls, or swing around the skyscrapers. No, his power is his heart, filled with love. His power is that he can be anybody and everybody's friend. This right here is his power. This right here is Spider-Man, and this is why he is so important to so many people around the world. Not because he's the strongest because he's not. Not because he's the fastest because he's not. But because he's just that one friendly neighbor who quite frankly each and every one of us needed in our lives and maybe still do. And regardless of who you are, where you come from, how old you are, what you look like, what you like to do, he will be that friendly neighbor for you as well. Because that's just who he is. And we should all strive to be like him. This short film perfectly captured that. This was Spider-Man. As real as he can ever be. And this really is something he would do, and surely has done at some point in the comics, or tv shows or games. So next time someone asks you "Why do you love Spider-Man?" the answer is simple, and the answer is in this video. Because he cares. He really cares about everyone. Wonderful job on this short film. Truly wonderful.
If it was lotus spider man here he would just be telling her how sad he is too and that life does suck. This gets spider man so much more.

This was very well made! The actress who played the girl did a phenomenal performance! And as someone who’s had these suicidal thoughts myself, I can relate to her, I also love how we see Spidey’s kinder side, it reminds us that these heroes aren’t just characters but beacons of hope that we look up to! This film got me choked up in the best way possible!

Spidey is the type of hero that would stop his patrol to help someone, doesn't matter if it's a kid who's toy is broken, a old lady wanting to cross the street or a person that has no one to help them
This is why I love Spider-Man, this is what he really means to me. An average guy who found himself with extraordinary powers trying his best to help people. He knows more than anyone how it feels to be another guy despite his powers, and he knows what it means to deal with loss more than most superheroes. This was a simple concept, but it got across all the things that makes Spider-Man one of the greatest superheroes of all time.
Man, you guys get it. It's awesome to see a team that not only understands the character of spider-man but you also gave a tasteful representation of someone with mental health issues. I’ve been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and personally I can relate to a lot of what she was saying and feeling. I've been in similar situations myself and even this past week have gone to the hospital. I needed this. Spider-man is my favourite fictional character. I've looked up to him and been a die hard fan since birth. Seeing something like this, just a 1 on 1 convo between him and a citizen in need of a friend. That's spider-man. You got it, this to me is Peter Parker. Good job guys, loved it
Despite Spider-Man: Lotus and all it's glossy camera work and budget, the script is mediocre and its depiction of Spider-Man is awful.
But here, with a little budget and a decent Spidey costume, two actors and some camera and music, manages to capture the true soul of Spider-Man and why I love him, and why many others love him, and why he's the greatest superhero of all time.
In 10 minutes, you were able to show why Spider-Man is the best superhero. Great work!

I've been in and out of her position a couple times now. Life's been a struggle. Spider-Man is the first thing that comes to mind when I'm trying to think of something positive in my life. Spider-Man didn't pop through my window and save me when I was in her place, but even though he's fictional he's been a big help. I'm glad I found this video. I feel like Spider-Man, even though he's fictional, has saved a lot of our lives. Thanks, Spidey. Thanks, guys. 'Nough said.

This fan film is amazing and extremely underrated. It doesn't get enough credit for how beautiful it is. It's not just some action packed fan film with Spider-Man, it shows the true representation of Spider-Man's character and motivation to keep going. He knows the pain she's going through. He lost his Uncle, and went through that due to his mistakes. It really shows that one person can help everyone. And it shows how Peter is really your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Good work!

Why am I only now being shown this right now? This one short film is probably one of the most heartwarming Spidey stories I have seen in awhile. It really hits home here.
I loved it! How Spidey treated with respect the suicide topic and tries to understand her issues without imposing some ideal... Just offering a second chance to fight again.
5 years ago we got perfect representations of spider-man as a character and how he thinks and somehow we still managed to end up with spider-man lotus
The fact that this gets Spider-Man so much more right than Spider-Man Lotus really speaks volumes XD.

I love this so much. This really gets the character of Spider-Man, acting is great, filming, and it really gets the emotion coming. My favorite thing about this that it’s a small thing and not a big event like every other fan film. Not saying those are bad but it’s nice to see something small like this.

I feel like marvel should take notes that spider-man isn’t this big super hero, he’s the friendly neighborhood spider man that doesn’t only take out the big organized crime but the small crimes too and the kind a person he is to help people and be a influence on kids to be a better people they don’t need web shooters or powers to be a superhero they just need to be a good person.
I lost my brother due to suicide last year and it hurt a lot and this video helps ty so much

As I was looking at this short film I could see myself into that spider suit, I deal with this almost everyday.. my best friend is passing through a lot of stuff, and I have to be there for her, I use to tell her that her life is precious and special, and much more.. so.. if the person reading my message is dealing with depression, just know that you're awesome and I love you, your life isn't meaningless, don't mind people talking bad, use that negativity to make it into your success and prove them wrong.. 💖
