Run Incredibly Fast in Skyrim by Fishing

- If you wanted to run very fast in Skyrim, you would traditionally dismount a horse standing at a near 90 degree angle to perform a horse tilt. But Anniversary Edition adds a much easier method with the Fishing creation, as it adds the Ring of the Wind, Ring of Khajiit, and Warlock's Ring to Skyrim. These rings each increase your movement speed, and can be strengthened with the Fortify Restoration loop.

I always suspected something like this might work, but was too lazy to check myself.
The only horse with a job is Arvaak when I need to sell several tons of loot. Cast and fast travel to town.

Arvaak never works for me. I think its spell absorbtion.

That's the price you pay for becoming Magicproof I suppose.
@@superwhatevergamin9634 yeah, but even with a small percentage spell absorbsion. Summons seem to fail often enough to be a risk to use. Seems like a weird bug for bethesda to miss.
@@alexcrowder1673 With imperfect spell absorption, the spells work sometimes... Not always, but sometimes.
Ever try to summon Durnahviir with maxed spell absorb? Massive magic absorb effect, but no cursed dragons. :(
The wind ring is the only item I’ve added to my appeal due to the effect on general, I’ve never been happy about getting a rare item since I got the game when it first came out. It’s awesome to know that you can still increase its effectiveness.

Update: So it turns out that the Warlock’s Ring is not affected by Fortify Restoration potions with Unofficial Patch installed.

I was wondering why the fortify restoration potion didn’t work.
I've tested this: potions of Creep Cluster, Mora Tapinella, and Scaly Pholiota are amazing for this.
You're thinking Abecean longfin and Cyrodiilic spadetail. That other potion is a fortify carry weight potion (that does have either an illusion or conjuration effect, I forget which.)
@@YosiahW Illusion effect. But that's what boosts the Ring of the Wind.

Any other tips on potions enhancing perks... Say "Chug this potion, take this perk" and power up say... That Snakeblood perk? Knowing which effects enhance what could help make awesomeness happen.
I have noticed something gets weird with Alchemy Snake Blood perks and Necromage Vampirism. It was along the way to purified potions, so perhaps having like 62% extra poison resist seems a little much.
Plus if this can be controlled with other potions and other perks, say chug a potion and fortify a Standing Stone? This plus resto-looping could be menacing.
Start simply, work your way up. When testing new perks from quest rewards, down every "Fortify Skill" potion or fortify undead magic effect you got, and pin down what changes if at all.
I think it'd be good content for the channel. Using the power of science enhanced magic to become OP.
There are only 3 perks that are affected by potions. Fortify Restoration boosts Recovery and Extra Pockets, while Fortify Destruction boosts Atronach. The UESP page on vampirism has a list of perks affected by Necromage in the bugs section: en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Vampirism#Bugs
I noticed that after the effect of the potion wears off you will still have the movement speed increase as long as you don't take the ring off, so basically what you get from drinking one potion of Fortify illusion can be unlimited the only catch is you can't remove the ring, as soon as you take the ring off your movement speed returns to normal. I recommend keeping your numbers lower like movement speed increase of 100% if your numbers get too high it's buggy as all hell and you will probably end up stuck glitching out high in the sky up in the clouds unable to move forward in some random part of the map that you can't even go to (out of bounds) until you fast travel out or reload a save.
