Thanks for putting the whole game online. Maybe not the most exciting to watch but hey this is sport.
It’s almost like Clark lacks confidence in her other teammates, and was trying to do it all on an off night.
Maybe that's The Problem....I Do Know that her Playing attitude seems more "Timid" and Restrained that it was Last Season. With her natural (God Given) Talent and Work Ethic will see her "Come Out The Other Side" of whatever is going on with her. She's Still The Killer she was, and I hope her Losing Confidence(If that's what is The Problem) and come out of it Stronger and with Her Old Swagger Still In Tact.
The Refs did everything they could to help Iowa win, but when you cant put the ball in the basket, no matter how hard two certain Refs try, its going to be tough to win.
Hey it's funny that's how they beat Virginia Tech and I'm not usually one to call out refs but the poor Hokies couldn't even try to defend Clark without some lame ass foul being called they had the Hokies in foul trouble from the jump I mean one player should never be shooting 17 free throws in one damn game 🙄🙄
The game clock stops when the shot clock hits zero. The refs cheated K-State out of a possession and 7+ seconds at the end of the 3rd.
That was clearly an incorrect call. Either the basket counts and the clock continues to run or there is a shot clock violation and the clock stops with 7 seconds left in the quarter. Instead, the refs said the basket did not count, but the clock continuing to run was okay.
Now, That's what I call "Paying Attention" to all facets of an Ongoing, Fast Paced "Basset Ball Game". My compliments for your astuteness
It is Iowa’s first loss of the season. It will not be their last. But the season is not a lost cause. Iowa was probably over-ranked in the preseason polls, considering they lost 27 points and 12 rebounds to graduation. The big concern right now is three-point shooting, which has been poor thus far. Without three-pointers, Iowa’s offense is far less formidable. Also, they lost a five point lead plus a few more points during the last three minutes of the game.
Honestly I think a few schools were over ranked this year, especially with all these upsets happening

So Much Better Than WNBA Air Ball Fests. Unlike their "Professional" Contemporaries, it's easy to see that these "College Girls" Actually "Practice" in attempts to Get Better at their chosen Sport. Meanwhile the WNBAers Slouch, & Lumber around the court like they don't have a care in the world, and it doesn't seem like they don't. Their Jobs Are Safe, because, like one WNBAer said..."Nobody Ever Really Retires, so the audience gets to see their "Favorites" as often as they like(Or Words To That Exact Effect". These NCAA Ladies are Very Good, Because They "Work Hard" To Be Good, And It Shows.........The WNBA "Hot Shots", Not So Much At All
Hannah Stuelke is WNBA ready and she is the X factor on the Iowa team. Great Defense, tenacious on the boards and doesn't hesitate to score in the paint....She poses a great matchup as she has wonderful footwork and positioning. Not too impressed with the rest of the Iowa team if she happens to foul out...
Hannah has shown good progress this season. I didn't expect her to play the way we've seen her play in every iowa game. I hope that she will be consistent
I love Hannah, but don't you feel she looks a bit lost when she gets the ball away from the paint?

One loss does not destroy Iowa’s season. Last year, Iowa was only 6-3 after nine games, yet they made it to the Final Four and the National Championship game.
That said, I personally had not ranked Iowa as high as the pollsters because of needing to replace 28 points and 12 rebounds, including Warnock’s ever present threat from outside. Still, Iowa’s currently poor outside shooting is very concerning. Shooters who were in the 40% range on threes last season are shooting 0% to 25% for the season thus far.
But they're not the same team this year. They have less weapons and Martin and Marshall are streaky. They're either hot or cold and they can't be counted on if Caitlin is struggling. Stuelke has promise, but didn't play that great the last game.
One loss doesn’t destroy anyones seasons. There’s a bunch of games in every sport every season

Caitlin looks a bit under the weather and she was taking shots that were not her usual ones. Iowa should have a back-up plan whenever Caitlin's not 100%.
I hope Gabby Marshall should be able to back up Clark because last season apart from warnock and Czinano she was able to do it.

Wow...pretty lousy shooting on both sides. I never got to play college hoops cuz only the small, private, EXPENSIVE colleges back then had women's programs, so I played with and against men (including college men and including Westmar's football and track star...who still holds records at that college and could have played pro football in Canada), and I'd have been embarrassed if I'd missed so many chip shots (and 3's). Oh, well...guess they just needed to get their worst performance out of the way. Good job Molly Davis, tho. Sure wish you'd not injured your knee at the end of the season!

Clark had nothing close to her usual energy, either physical or emotional. No one claimed she was under the weather, but maybe she was. But out of shape? I don't think so. All reports say she put in the work during the off-season.
