In this context, Kachari is not a Naga Tribe, but a recognised indigenous Tribe of Nagaland since they've been staying in Dimapur even before the formation of our state, Nagaland, in the year 1963. Also, a small note on Indigenous and indigenous. Indigenous specifically means those people who have been staying in Nagaland even before the formation of the state. For example : Kacharis, Kuki, Garo & Mikir. People belonging to these tribes can contest election in any part of Nagaland regardless of whether they are Naga or not. Friends, let's not be carried away by emotion but rather give space for rationality backed with fact and datas, and comment wisely. When the person himself who's supposed to contest the ULB election from the Ndpp ticket hasn't turn up the public meeting. How do he expect to contest the election and promised to served the general public of the ward. Holy moolly in engrazi.. Whoever he/ she may be such person has no right to claimed to pretend and become a public leader in this 21st century.. Majority used to say this is computer generation then how could anyone be selfish not able to keep the timing to address the peoples of the ward and share whatever his plans for the ward and Dimapur. Public knows well what NDPP stand for and what interest the ndpp have for the ndpp party never give much attention to public grievances but building their own future and interest..
