I have felt like this for years. Bron and Steph have been great and haven’t fallen so bad to not be considered the best. Giannis and jokic alone have made cases for best players but I think in the past two years I would put Gianni’s behind Bron and Steph. I believe we shouldn’t give it to the younger guys they have to take it. I think if jokic hasn’t he is very close. My top 3 I don’t really care to order them are Bron Steph and jokic. Bron and AD truly do as much as they can. From a basketball pov they can’t do more. they are amazing but basketball is a team sport. Hince why young guys can beat the older guys. JT jokic SGA and players of that type do their job great and provide superstar punch but also have a team built so they can succeed cause others will do their job. I don’t put much weight on in season tournament but interesting to see when there was something to win and it yeilded no reward other than to show the pecking order Brons team won it. I think this shows he is still the best/top 3. Players can win you a couple games here and there and great players are expected to do that. What they cannot do is win series by themselves. It takes a team to do that. Bron showed he is a winner and the best winner by getting the the in season. This has been a reason I have been critical on Cade. Did he deserve a max?? I don’t believe he could turn them all the way around but he could have got a game here and there so they wouldn’t lose 26 times in a row. In the Olympics the players themselves felt he was the best and majority of the tournament he looked like the best on the floor Basically I still think he is the best and if he isn’t it’s jokic then Bron. Some other younger guys are catching up but for now Steph bron jokic are my top 3.(not ranked)
He's not the best player anymore but in his prime he obviously was, and his prime was long! Dude led FIVE different coaches to at least the Finals who have never been that far before or since.
We already have our candidates before the season start Brunson ain’t even get a mention. Is that fair or a good gauge?? We also all understand voter fatigue. If it wasn’t a thing guys like Kobe mj bron steph would win every year.
Jokic,Luka,Giannis,shai,embiid ..and maybe steph and Tatum are better than LeBron and I actually like LeBron but he is not a top 5 player rn and thats ok ...Luka dropped 73,13 and 7 on 76 percent from the field ...like come on bro be realistic

In lakers championship run, Lebron would run center sometimes. That is the beauty of him. Can play 1-4 as best as anyone in history. Would still be a hall of fame center if he played that from day 1 🤣. Luka could never. Even at 40, most people would take Lebron for 1 game over all those other guys you mentioned
Most of the nba players you just mentioned played on the same team this summer and agreed Lebron was the best player. Also when we watched the games we could all see who was deferred to, who had the biggest impact, who was trusted the most and least, and who was the best on the floor
