BASIC FLAMENCO CADENCE - PALOS HARMONY ANALYSIS

In this video, I am explaining just the basic "Flamenco Cadence" that we all hear about a lot, as well as showing some examples from some Palos that are based on this "Chord Progression".
    Video Contents: 👇
1- Falseta Intro "Amor Dulce Muerte" on (Bulerías): (00:00 - 2:16)
    2- Video Introduction: (2:16 - 3:12)
    3- What is the "Cadence"?: (3:12 - 5:35)
    4- Relation between (E) and (A Harmonic Minor): (5:35 - 7:31)
    5- How to find the "Cadence"?: (7:31 - 10:15)
    6- "Bulerías" Harmony Analysis: (10:15 - 11:18)
    7- "Tangos" Harmony Analysis: (11:18 - 12:35)
    8- "Soleá" Harmony Analysis: (12:35 - 13:10)
    9- "Fandangos" Harmony Analysis: (13:10 - 14:00)
    10- "Malagueña" Harmony Analysis: (14:00 - 14:28)
    11- "Granaína" Harmony Analysis: (14:28 - 15:05)
    12- Introducing the "Dominants": (15:05 - 16:31)
    13- Middle Position "Dominant" Chords: (16:31 - 16:57)
    14- Conclusion to "End": (16:57 - 18:56)
Like I said in the beginning of the video, I haven't actually studied Music Theory to be honest. However, I know more or less how things work on the guitar as I always experimented with different chords and harmonies by fooling around on it.
Later, all I had to do (still have to do), is to learn what I was/am doing on the guitar "Theoretically" to be able to explain in it in a better and more clear way.
I hope this was enough for this video, and that you got the idea of what I was trying to Explain.
Something I would like to mention about the (Intro) of this video.
I got a lot of positive comments from many people telling me how much they liked my (Bulerías) version of (Amor Dulce Muerte) from my previous video, so I decided to make a proper recording and use it for the intro of this video. I hope that you like it!
Thank you all for watching as always, and I hope to see you next time!
    Stay safe, and warmest regards,
    Luciano

    Hey Luciano
I commented previously in this video that I couldn't understand some of the theoritical terms thus I didn't know anything about music theory but in these days I tried to learn on internet and also worked on the fretboard analysing some pieces and got a decent amount of understanding.
I watched this video for about 7-8 times also and realized how you explained many many things in such a great and effortless way.
I think I also got a great direction of figuring out pieces by ear which I asked a few time ago.
Really many many thanks to you man!❤️❤️❤️

Excuse me, but what is the make of your guitar? Is it a Manuel Reyes,? I owned one that I bought directly from him in 1968. I was on leave from the military, and. arrived at hi shop unannounced in Cordoba. There was a waiting list of at least a year for a new guitar, but he happened to have a "repaired" / new guitar that he was holding for a local player who refused to pick it up. Long story short, I bought it, loved it and took it all. over the world with me. Never had trouble with climate changes. It was a wonderful guitar (I had bought a Ramirez on the same trip, but didn't like it nearly as much as the Reyes.). Mr. Reyes was one of the nicest makers that I met on my trip. We drank coffee together and talked for hours. His English was surprisingly good compared to my badly broken Spanish. I even got Mr. Reyes to play briefly on my 'new' guitar. I only realized then that he had a bad or injured arm, though he functioned perfectly well. Anyway, I now have a few Japanese vintage guitars that I have restored, and found one that, while not sounding nearly as good as my Reyes, look almost exactly like mine. One even has a rosette exactly like the one you are playing. But I will never forget Mr. Reyes, his discounted guitar, his generosity and hospitality...and my trip to Cordoba. (I have recently taken a few lessons on line....I'm 76 years young, but don't expect to play ever as well as I did as a high schooler. But I particularly liked your video on rasquiado. You are a fine guitarist. Thank you. PS I took an emergency trip back to Viet Nam in 1975 for which I had to sell almost everything I owned. I sold both the Reyes and the Ramirez for far less than they were worth...but to my old teacher and one of the best flamenco guitarist in Southern California at the time. So, I knew they were in good hands. Best.
