For what i have to say about this week's products, Ridiculous: David Williamson is also one of my favourite magician, i am especially a fan of his take on the 6 card trick. David Williamson's Rocky racoon routine is hilarious, once you'll have seen it, you'll want to get one of these furry toys! Its that good! He is entertaining, funny, and a great teacher. There is no way one can go wrong with a Luis de Matos production. Will there ever be a "at the table" with David Williamson? Ammar trilogy: If you don't know who michael Ammar is then you have some serious work ahead of you. He is a master magician and disregarding his work is considered blasphemy in the magic community. I am not sure that the effect demonstrated was the best one available on the DVD but this would play really well to transit from money magic to mentalism and vice versa. If you want to know some more about michael ammar before buying his DVD set, check out his 1$ Lecture at murphy's magic.com This could turn out to be one of your greatest investment for this year of 2014! Overall, if you can't decide which DVD set to take just grab both. You'll be getting your money's worth and you'll be learning some strong plots. I agree with Kyle all the way and there is no way one can find any negativity in any of these DVD's although some tricks may not be as strong as the other but wills still be worth learning.

Love the performance of the two card monte and the reveal at the end. Throughout the trick I kept thinking to myself, "Why won't they show the person he's performing for?" only to go "ooooh, Mr Williamson himself!" Anything Williamson touches turns to a hilarious glob of glorious gold and this DVD set is something I can see myself going back to over and over again. Those interview sections are something I'm very interested in watching just for the wisdom in Williamson's head! I had a chance to meet Michael Ammar at a convention once and his thinking and simplicity of effects is just so wonderful to watch. They say that if you wanted to hide a good effect, just put it in a book. I guess you could now say the same in this case, if you want to a hide a good effect, put it on VHS! I'm glad that these tapes are now available on DVD, if only for a new generation to rediscover these effects. That bill effect was nice too, feels so natural. By the way, where did you get that awesome shirt from? I want one!

David Williamson immediately became one of my favorite magicians after I saw him at EMC. He is an extremely funny guy with incredible skill. I am also a big fan of Michael Ammar's work. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend his lecture and meet him when he came to New Orleans. He is a great mind of the magic industry. Both seem like they are incredible sets with tons of awesome information!
WOW! I can't believe you are giving these away! AWESOME! My thoughts: I don't have Ridiculous, but it looks AWESOME! Williamson is a LEGEND and one of my favourites!!!!!! It's the product I want the most this year!!! I love how he does things that really work for real people, and how he can mix funny with needles, razors, card tricks! Really liked the show. I like how both the DVDs have some of the most practical magic and with names like Williamson and Ammar you know the magic will be some of the most powerful magic you will see.
Both of these DVD sets look amazing! Michael Ammar and while not a household name like Blaine is a living legend within the magic community. Both of these DVDs look like they have a little bit of everything, and even if you knew some of the material the in depth way in which they teach it would probably elevate your performance all the more. Great week, for a great show.
Wow, what can I say about these two DVD's. they are both beautiful collections from true masters of our art. Ridiculous is an incredible body of work from someone who truly understands how to entertain and delight. It will soon become standard in every magicians library. The Michael Ammar set contains some of the quintessential work on coins, cards and close up magic from one of the most influential and inspirational magicians alive today. My views may be the same as everyone else's but that is because all of these DVD's are works of art from legends within our industry.
I must have these. I've researched the contents on all seven discs and every single effect is a worker and all 100+ effects are going straight into my 5 hour set.
Wow is all I can say about the two DVD sets this week. Amazing sets by some of the best magicians of our time. Luis De Matos and the EMC team are the perfect team to put out a David Williamson DVD, them and their E-Studio always impress. From what I could imagine from David's work, just the first DVD with his live show on it would be amazing to own let alone all the work on the other 3 DVDs And what can be said about Michael Ammar that hasn't already been said? A true great performer and more importantly teacher of magic, he has this ability to make difficult things really accessible. The lower quality of the DVDs because of their previous recording for VHS shouldn't steer people away and prevent them from acquiring this set, everyone needs an Ammar teaching set in their collection!
These week the prizes are amazing!!!!!! I grew up on the Ammar trilogy, but I am sorry to say that my Vhs tapes were ruin by water from a broken pipe in my house :( So kyle pleases give me back my childhood. Also Ridiculous must be amazing because hello David freaken Williamson. By the way on a serious not Murphy's is amazing for giving away free magic every week. You guys truly care about the community and it is evident with all the effort kyle and Murphy's put into the videos weekly. Even If I don't ever win anything from unwrapped or the monday night contest, I am just glad there is a magic company out there that is trying to bring magic back to what it truly is, a community. I know this is sappy but you guy's are pretty great.

HI Kyle,the first effect is just 'ridiculous' literally lol i can see myself performing this with completely mind blown spectators however....is this as clean as we all thinkO__o?! secondly Ammar trilogy.....to Ammar an effect (which means to create) which is as clever and simple as the one you displayed is simply amazing and something tells me to !!!buy the Dvd's" for some easy to perform tricks in almost impromptu conditions however i noticed it was done with a dollar....does this mean some of the 85 effect can't be done with british currency? as we don't carry dollars quarters ect ahah !..cheers man Jordan.

Hey I'm new to this channel and magic website and I have to say I have been so impressed with the quality and hard work that goes into it. Card tricks are my favourite genre of magic and both of these prizes I think could help me expand my horizons with magic and I would be honoured and privileged to win them
I like that ridiculous has lots of magic to learn and thought by a great legend in magic and ammar is great as we'll I own many of his tricks and I wouldn't see how anybody would be upset on the DVD set but I kinda don't like that these require some sleight like the two card monte I like tricks with one effect and a gimmick but that's just me -thanks Kyle I hope I win
thank you! this week i think it was one of the best! this two guys reinvented magic! i know more about ammar then david´s magic, but all hes card work that i have seen is amazing! well these two dvds are very heavymetal. and both of them have a lot of different tipes of trick in them, coin card etc and are such good artists, theres a lot to lear about presentation and humor with them. so thats the good part. it is hard to find something i didnt like about it. maybe the fact that is very hard to find performances of david w. ridiculous... thanks for the reviewand sorry for my english ( it is not my firdt language)
Like you I own a ton of the old Ammar VHS tapes. Haven't watched them in so long because fast forwarding is sooooo 1990's. Would love that stuff on DVD to make watching them again easier. I was not familiar with the other DVD set. I'll have to look into it (unless I somehow got these as a gift)
I also cannot say anything bad about either DVD. I am a huge David Williamson fan. I am still waiting for the lock of hair I have asked him for. Michael Ammar videos are also a staple in the ultimate instruction on magic. If elected to win, I would try to govern with a kind hand and only use my magic for good. I will be open and honest about my campaign and will not slander any other of my constituents.

these two DVD sets look awesome! i personally don't have anything bad to say about this cause you are (probably) gonna get a lot from these DVDs. Michael Ammar is an awesome guy. He created a bunch of cool effects including the famous Crazy Man's Handcuffs, which I guess a lot of people don't know because tutorials on youtube these days don't give credit to the guy who created it (got that from scamschool lol). I also love him for his card on ceiling effect, really cool. The David Williamson DVD also looks very cool I already know that thing is packed with insights that will help with your magic to be stronger. All in all, these 2 sets are cray :)
It is hard to find anything not to like about this week's items! Both are, I'm sure, really, really good and I like that you went over, at least a little, of the type of stuff on the DVVD sets. I would like to see, or hear, more details on what is included on the DVD's. Both Michael and David put out quality stuff -- always!!! About the only thing I didn't like on this weeks show is that I have no idea what DVD's you are talking about from Michael. Are they a re-release of previous DVD's? Are they a compilation of some of his material? If so, what DVD's did they come off of? Where can we get this information, etc...? I'm sure that we will be able to track it down, but the show would be a lot more complete with this information. Good work!
Kyle - I'd be intrigued to see what other tricks are in the Ridiculous box set. I like the idea of having some DVDs with lots of knowledge and experience to take advantage of. The best thing is, exactly as you say, this is magic that works!! I do the trick you did in the video and it's one of my favourite. The Ammar Trilogy, I like this as it uses money too! I like adding things other than card tricks to my routines. Oh and Kyle? Can you do me a favour? It's really messing with my head. There a rack of decks behind your left shoulder... The green pack is the opposite way up compared to the others on the rack.... Can you turn it over????
Both dvds are great, they contain tricks directly from the masters, it's very kind of them to share their tricks....they are great magicians.... Why is it so hard to win these things....?

I have seen david williamson lecture before, when I knew about this release with EMC, I could not wait until this come out, he is a genious. But I did not buy it yet. The Ammar trilogy, might be incredibly good, Ammar stuff will never be old, they will be always awesome and fooling. I think this week with a $200 prize we should have 2 winners. :)

To be honest I'm not a big fan of the first set of DVDs because most of the tricks ate impromptu and the trick you did in your live performance was easily found on CZcams with a tutorial. Second! I'm really into impossible prediction magic such as the second trick!! I have done some card predictions but nothing with money! Good luck to everyone who enters!
Ridiculous set should be a very great set, because every set that Luis de Mtos produces is great. The bad thing is that it is very expensive, and thats the problem with Luis de Matos production. The ammar trilogy is just great. And i should win this prices because im from Venezuela and im gonna be at USA next week so you can ship them to me LOL.
Seems like there is a lot of classic magic in these DVD's and I love that. Guess the only bad thing I can say about them is that I do not have them, but if you would like to give them to me, I can promise you that very wonderful things will come to you, I'm talking miracles man, don't you want to find it what they are? Ridiculous looks great because there is tons of great material and content on the DVDs but is on the pricey side which I can't afford but a good reason to win. i personally like your presentation on the reviews you sound like a cool guy, i also like the fact (im guessing) ammar was impromtu and i caught onto the trick straight away though have never thought of that so im guessing some amaying impromtu magic. i dislike the fact the guy in the first trick was such a dick and so biased as it was a great trick:)

Seriously though, Love your reviews, have been watching them all and very helpful to choose the best tricks especially when on a budget to only get so many. They stood the test of time! They went from VHS to DVD. Physically they have changed.....But the magic remained timeless. Legends!

I recently picked up Ridiculous. It is absolutely amazing. It's definitely a "must get" DVD. David Williamson is so underrated!

I have seen david williamson lecture before, when I knew about this release with EMC, I could not wait until this come out, he is a genious. But I did not buy it yet.
The Ammar trilogy, might be incredibly good, Ammar stuff will never be old, they will be always awesome and fooling.

Hey kyle I love these DVDs there quite expensive but probly very worth it I love some of the tricks and defo like DVDs better than books so this could be for me thanks
To be honest I'm not a big fan of the first set of DVDs because most of the tricks ate impromptu and the trick you did in your live performance was easily found on CZcams with a tutorial.
Second! I'm really into impossible prediction magic such as the second trick!! I have done some card predictions but nothing with money!

Ridiculous set should be a very great set, because every set that Luis de Mtos produces is great. The bad thing is that it is very expensive, and thats the problem with Luis de Matos production. The ammar trilogy is just great. And i should win this prices because im from Venezuela and im gonna be at USA next week so you can ship them to me LOL.

Seems like there is a lot of classic magic in these DVD's and I love that. Guess the only bad thing I can say about them is that I do not have them, but if you would like to give them to me, I can promise you that very wonderful things will come to you, I'm talking miracles man, don't you want to find it what they are? Even I want to find out.

Free DVDs are Great DVDs
Ridiculous looks great because there is tons of great material and content on the DVDs but is on the pricey side which I can't afford but a good reason to win.
The Michael Ammar trilogy looks great with lots a material and tons of variety from coin to card it never stops. Although the recording is a little old but that never hurt anyone.

i personally like your presentation on the reviews you sound like a cool guy, i also like the fact (im guessing) ammar was impromtu and i caught onto the trick straight away though have never thought of that so im guessing some amaying impromtu magic. i dislike the fact the guy in the first trick was such a dick and so biased as it was a great trick:)

Seriously though, Love your reviews, have been watching them all and very helpful to choose the best tricks especially when on a budget to only get so many. Both of the DVDS you reviewed looked quite well put together and both magicians are very top notch. It is great when magicians take the time to teach us what has made them get to the level they are at.
