Jazak Allah khair, insha'Allah this video can benefit many people! I appreciate that you provided a framework to approach any hadith a person might struggle to make sense of rather than focusing on a specific hadith. It's true that these issues can fester in a way that causes distress and hurts the iman of people when unaddressed, subhanallah, may we be granted guidance and beautified faith that brings us sakina and tawfeeq from our Rab, ar Rasheed. Your third idea was especially well-illustrated when you pointed out that we don't tend to feel uncomfortable dissonance for a moment when hearing a hadith that seems to "favor" women over men. We are living in complicated times that are made easier because of the excellent work of thinkers like those with Yaqeen, may Allah protect and reward you!
    summary of approach
    1) verify authenticity
    2) determine meaning based on the context of the hadith and intertextuality of the deen as a whole
    3) examine your own biases within what you define as "common sense," the fleeting sensitivities of your specific time and place
    4) assume the best of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and Allah subhana wa ta'ala when attempting to interpret a hadith

Very good because I just relatively recently ran in to these Qur’an only people and was subsequently called a mushrik as a result of my disagreement with their insulting regard for the hadith, shahabah ( ra) and the scholars. May Allah keep our hearts from deviation. Ameen

10:10 The problem is the Bias that this religion is the truth and the Prophet is actually a Prophet as he claims to be , We should always disbelieve the disbelief( the disbelief that the Prophet is actually not a Prophet and start doubting why we should not believe the prophet to be not a prophet).
