  • in the history of Ashanti's, Otumfour do not cross river tano but due to a recent chieftenncy misunderstanding between dormaa hene and Otumfour Osei Tutu Ababio on several issues, he set another historical record by crossing this rever to berekum to let the people there know that, they are all Ashantis. The traditional activities that went on was very powerful and cultural to his people and, to all the world.
we have Queen mothers who in history were warriors so they also displayed their cultural contribution to their king.
Motor riders also did their part as a respect and honour the king, and other cultural activities were also done in commemoration to his royal majesty Opemso) Otumfour Osei Tutu II.

When we arrived at Cultural center and Manhyia at about 6am to join the caravan the security personnel turned us down because too many people were trying to join the Asantehene's caravan so they could only allow those who were already registered to ride in the 25 VIP buses to be part of his Majesty's caravan. We attempted to drive behind the buses in our own vehicles but again the escorting security personnel blocked us. By the time we arrived at Brekum and found parking we could only cheer from the sides as the Asantehene was carried through the massive crowd. There were numerous Asantes who drove all the way to Brekum but couldn't join the main procession because of security reasons.BUT WE WERE THERE.

This is an occasion where people are watching from all over the world. 1. Law must be enforced, why should the police look unconcern for the guys to ride without Helmets 🪖? For their own Safety , 2. That alone doesn’t speak well of the whole show😢. Long leave Great Ashanti Kingdom, Long leave Ghana 🇬🇭 God bless you all.

The Ashanti's flag depict Our Yellow - Richland (wealth as in Gold), The Black stands for our clour, The Green ( Richland as in our beautiful Forest /afforestation) And the semble of the Golden Stool that unified the whole of Asanteman. Ashanti's flag was there even before the Ghana flag was designed, Because it was a nation of it own before the then Gold Coast later ( Ghana) and Dr Kwame Nkrumah demarcated the land for the fear of the Ashanti's rising against him. But their kingdom still remains and the people of Ashanti's sees the King as God, hence the name " Nyamek3se " ( Osei Tutu Nyamek3se) Every king of the Ashanti's bears that TITLE apart from the Kingdom Title (OTUMFOUR) Nyamek3se simply means the "Great God"

@@LaudTV only in your stupid country. Where l live in the wiseman's country it is special trained people who guard the prime minister and ministers and NOT the military. That your chief should provide his own security. What are the executioners around him for?. What does the abrafo holding daggers and guns jumping up and down with faces painted meant to you?. You really don't know what you are talking about. You people does not know the duties of the police, the army and the customs officials.
