@@1mrtoman He is from Iran. Not Armenia. They are two separate countries. The culture his dad immersed Andre in is a typical Iranian dad (irrespective of ethnicity as Iran has many ethnicities). Iranian is not an ethnicity. It's a nationality. The ethnicities of Iran are Persian, Georgian, Armenian, Kurdish, Azeri, Arab, Gilaki, Balochi, etc etc.
Agassi's father was born in Salmas, Pahlavi Iran to Assyrian and Armenian parents.
How is he iranian then ?
@@RC_1930 Iranian is not a race. It's a nationality. Persian is a race. By Iranian law, if your father is Iranian born, you are automatically Iranian. Iran has many races.......he is 100% Iranian. Only an Iranian dad would do that to their kid too. It's part of that culture. Obsession/discipline which Armenia lacks.

Most Asian kids will be happy about this kind of investment a parent would make to make them successful. Don't learn wrong lessons from Agassi. Work hard for your kids and make them work hard. And make sure they are grateful for it. And if they are not, still you did your best for your child. Make kids work hard is not child abuse if done within limits
