That was a great cover! I’m in my 70’s and a Michigan man and I remember watching Seger and his band way back when they were playing local bars and gigs. You did that song justice!

About three decades ago I had the pleasure of working in Dallas for 12 years, and made some of the best people I’ve ever known. One in particular remained a close friend for life, one among others I could count on one hand. A singer/band that we shared, even fortunate to make a concert there, was Bob Seger, more specific was this song. We had been friends through some of the saddest events people can go through. Matt died about two years ago, sudden and unexpected, from something he had ‘neglected’ to mention. Thanks for the memories this Saturday morning Jay, great cover.
