Title says 1983, but stylistically and definitely in terms of instrumentation you're leaning closer to 1988 (the Roland D-50 Brass has the late 80s written all over it). That extremely nerdy criticism aside, it's a fantastic edit! It could easily pass for Hi-NRG or Italo Disco from the late 80s.
She was a true visioneer and a genius innovator in the post-disco era.

Yes, it's kind of a disco-high-energy song that was remixed again in 1988, with a singer who had a very modern, opinionated singing style.
