Can you put all the lighting etc in the guest room? Then all your clothes can go into the closet. Declutter the bedroom. So for my OCD I find it way more relaxing 😊

I had my youngest at 37 ,was a shock ,but shes lovely ,and given me 3 gorgeous grandchildren ,and one on the way ,my first reaction to finding I was pregnant at 37 ,was ,I carnt be ,I'm a grandmother ,grandmothers dont have babies ,after a cry I was ok ,tho ,and love her with all my heart ,shes now 30 herself ,

I remember other Mothers of young children being amazed at how much I got done on renovations, but I think they were trying to imagine fitting it into their day beyond the housework they normally did. They would not have realised how thoroughly I abandoned all housework when I was in the middle of such all engrossing projects! (Hey, we ate!).

I’d love it if you listed your supplies for diy somewhere - wood filler, caulking etc - there are so many variations - knowing you already did the testing would be so helpful.
OK. Burrito rolling, fold the ends in first then roll. Keeps everything tucked in nicely. But as long as it has great flavor that’s all that matters. Love the Fox pillow case. It’s actually nice that it did not come with an insert. It’s easier to store and have different cases for your two pillows.
To roll a burrito: ( I didn’t see any comments so I thought I’d share my way) I just roll up the bottom a bit and then roll the burrito from one side to the other. You can also roll the top and bottom first but I tend to leave the top open. :) I think but I’m not sure, but you can also heat your *tortilla but leave it soft, roll it, then Put it in the pan to crisp it up if you like it crispy! Edit* wrong word lol
We built, built in book case/shelves and I painted them with an acrylic enamel paint for durability. You can certainly use wall paint for trim around windows but when it comes to shelves or cabinets, I prefer a harder shell paint so enamel paint works best

I have remodeled several homes, and all were different... an amalgamation of me and the house style and location. The funniest was my open plan house looking east over the prairie to a 4 story dorm at ETSU. All by itself, it turned into a New York loft! Cracked up visitors. This house on 5 acres at 7000 ft in the mountains of New Mexico has my usual mix from thrift stores, including a couple original Indian art pieces. I have 360 degree mountain views. I so wanted an old Adobe, but were not in my price range and not out of town.

There are a lot of really fine tapestry weavers in Belgium . France too. Be sure to visit on your next trip to Europe. Other fine fabrics are woven in both countries. There is a tapestry museum in Lyon that is very nice.

Concerning burrito folding - I would suggest before toasting the tortilla in this case, fill it with the filling (don't spread across the whole of the tortilla). First fold the sides perpendicular to the filling just a little bit and then roll one end of the tortilla over the filling and tuck it under the filling. Then toast the burrito in the fry pan for the toasted tortilla texture - do the seam first and that will also seal it shut.

I'm in a world when I watch people diy that comforts me that maybe all these people know were the home electric box cut off is and the mains cut of is. Plus the the water ones. I had to say this as I was feeling it. I do know as a young person I had to learn even as a renter.

Your in Texas like me and the cooler weather is so short lived, cool in the morning and back up to the 90’s by noon! You have to be prepared for your closets to have a lil of both seasons clothing. I have both a spring/summer closet and fall/ winter closet. The weather gets to a point it can’t make up its mind what the temps will be. Except for summer it’s just Hot! 🤣

I’m watching you pack up your summer clothes and hanging up the sweaters laughing to myself. Your in Texas like me and the cooler weather is so short lived, cool in the morning and back up to the 90’s by noon! You have to be prepared for your closets to have a lil of both seasons clothing. I have both a spring/summer closet and fall/ winter closet. The weather gets to a point it can’t make up its mind what the temps will be. Except for summer it’s just Hot! 🤣
