  • Contract baling straw with the bale Baron!
    A nearby farmer needed some straw baling! Little road trip for our setup. Baron has transformed our baling operation. Any questions, ask in comments I’m happy to answer them!

      Our bale baron is 2016 I think they started that model in 2015. The new ones are quicker and are over 100k.

    Neighbor of mine has the same set up. I’ve been hiring a guy to come in with a bail bandit and do my square bales. Talking big dollars there to buy one of those things. You guys have license plates on your tractors?

    Hi what's your general output of bales per bailing day or hour ,,or acres ?

    • @anorfolkfarmer9732
      @anorfolkfarmer9732  Před 3 lety +2

      About 500-600 bales an hour, we haven’t had a good day this year but we know what we could achieve!

    I see you done some osr straw, what does he use it for? And how many bales does it pack?

    • @anorfolkfarmer9732
      @anorfolkfarmer9732  Před 3 lety

      We did! Where did you see us?! He uses it for poultry litter as it works better than barley/wheat straw. 21 little bales to each pack

    Whats the costs of having a contract baler set up like this to come and do baling?

    • @anorfolkfarmer9732
      @anorfolkfarmer9732  Před 3 lety +1

      We charge £1 per bale. Which is baled and packed.

    • @Spiked2005
      @Spiked2005 Před 3 lety +1

      Is that the standard for small square bales or large bales?

    • @anorfolkfarmer9732
      @anorfolkfarmer9732  Před 3 lety +1

      @@Spiked2005 as we have a bale baron which puts the small bales into the packs it’s slightly more to bale due to added string and it’s another machine to warrant. If a contractor isn’t packing the bales it might be 80p per bale. But for a big square baler it’s more per bale as it cost more to run a big baler.
