I was only on a 5-6 day work week and they put me on a load going to Weaverville, North Carolina and expected me to come back to my normal pick-up spot and take my 10. I told them "no I'm going home after I drop the load off cause it's my home time day." They swore up and down that I didn't put in my home time day request, which I did as soon as I started my work week and checked with them everyday to remind them. I drove from Weaverville, North Carolina to Cookeville, Tennessee and took my days off. These companies think they have control of you on all levels just because you work for them, but they don't and you shouldn't let them have control either.

Ms Nia, It is amazing how many people don't know how to do their job. ( Payroll). That is a pretty common occurrence with trucking companies. But by law they have to get you money. I don't know your particular state laws. But in my state, they have to have it to you within 24 hours of your actual payroll time.
I always kept a detailed book of all the loads I picked up and delivered. Also when I picked them up and what time I delivered them and when all the paperwork was turned in. I caught them several times trying to short my loads.
Love maine go up there once a month to see friends that moved up to houlton area. Love the content as one day would like to get into trucking industry.

LL Bean in Freeport, ME. Oh, the memories. I lived in Brunswick when in navy and there was a hotdog vendor on the sidewalk in front of LL Bean store. Such great hot food in the winter. Man, the best folks in ME too.

If you get a Range Rover be careful they have a lot of technical issues from the radio screen to the seats speakers and etc but overall they run good just wish they took better care of the tech side of things

Sometimes its an honest weird type of glitch. Some managers are stand up and will fix it asap. Thats how I did with my drivers when I was a manager. Im on the driver end now and seeing so much wrong with the business. Hopefully they figure out what happened and make it right for you.
Best part was "My car is too small for Palm I needed a bigger car for him", then goes and says I don't want the long one I cant look too much momish. Hope you got your pay figured out though.
Make sure you clean the wiper blades also or as soon as you turn them on you’ll be right back to dirty window and don’t work without pay for very long but do give them a chance to get it fixed
The only thing I can think of is all the scanned paperwork didn’t go through or get approved I had one load one time that didn’t go though when it should of I called payroll they weren’t sure so they got me In contact with billing and they said they didn’t see where receiver signed bol I pointed it out to them they processed it and gave me the option to add it immediately to the fuel card or have it added to the next weeks check I’m not sure your scenario but hope that helps some

Look up your state laws, but they have around 24hrs to pay you before they are in federal violation. After finding out the exact time, I'd remind them of federal law.
My rules for a company driver. 1.dont mess with my money. 2. Don't mess with my hometime. And I won't mess with your freight. Be safe out there.
