    Hello,
    Thanks for the nice informative video, just liked and subscribed. I'm seriously considering getting a Jellyfish tank, this one specifically. If you don't mind me asking, what is the monthly outgoing cost for upkeep. Food, R/O water, Salt, etc. Everything to keep them happy and healthy. I don't wanna invest if it is something i can't continue to do so. Thank you in advance.

    • @ArnoldosAquariums
      @ArnoldosAquariums Před 4 lety +5

      I recommend water changes WEEKLY. Let's break it down:
      RO Water can be bought from your LFS. You can buy a kit for $200 which may save you money in the very long run. Price per gallon depends on your LFS (local fish store)
      2 gallon pack of salt from JellyFishArt = $2. Honestly, buy theirs since its premeasured.
      ChemiPure I bought the big packs from Chewy. $40 of those packs will last me 2 years. (replace once a month)
      JellyFish Art eggs and food are so cheap.. I think $30 lasted me close to 6 months! (buy both)
      JellyMaintain (beenficial bacteria)... a $5 bottle lasts you 4-5 months.
      Not including water itself, if you do water changes 4x a month average...less than $15 a month.

      @@ArnoldosAquariums Thank you for the very informative and detailed reply. It's much appreciated, I've been doing some research for the last few days about it and you've just answered so many questions between your comment and video. Better than the companies actually selling them. That's definitely much more affordable than I first thought. I think i'll get one ordered once it's back in stock. Thanks again, I look forward to more of your videos as a beginner at keeping marine life, they are very useful.
