I really like the political / space opera and the aspects of war rather than using flashy fights to get the audience’s attention. I really like shows with sadder more realistic endings, and i know witch of mercury, iron blooded orphans, and i think victory have sad endings.

So it makes sense their classmates/fellow scholars are at the same age, seeing Suletta getting into the Asticassia, even though she is already 17. You could see it as something akin to an college. I am only concluding from the 20 or so episodes we haven't seen any children, that were not teens. Might be wrong, might be right. Though I don't wanna start a fight.
