I'm 13 as well.....I tried suicide twice....I still want to die....my ex girlfriend hates me because I tired to kill myself....my dad is gone and only calls or text to cuss me out....my great grandma passed away a couple weeks ago and my other grandma is in the hospital and my moms mom has been dead for 6 years and my favorite aunt died 7 years ago.....

i didn't 'lose' my best friend, but when we were younger, we made a dance to this song. we spent like half a year making it for this talent show that we failed at anyway. when we split schools, i realized i was the only one trying and working to keep us together so slowly we drifted apart. this song reminds me of the happiest years of my life and how much i miss her.
I have that too now, we were close, but she only responds now when i am standing in front of her, tho i miss her i know i have to let go. That hurts.

I lost my mom August 1st 2020, a day before her birthday. We were in a car accident and I almost died too. I stayed a week in the hospital because I couldn't walk by myself. I wore a neck cast for 2 months and my spine is still badly injured, If I could go back to that day and save my mom I would.

To me it's the feeling of happiness but then it slips into depression and anxiety. Really hits hard.
Always having the feeling that you’re not enough is tiring. Everyday you worry because you don’t know if what you did was right and about what people will say about you. Even though you laugh and talk to others, you always feel like there’s something missing. A deep hole in you’re heart that you don’t know what it is. Then, you realize you’re crying every other day, for no reason. That voice in your head always telling you that you’re not enough, that you’re a waste of time and that everyone would be better without you. You want someone to ask if you’re fine but then again, you know that even if they ask, you will always reply with a smile and a simple “I’m okay”.
I just want to say that if you’re a person that is feeling this, I understand. I understand because I’ve been there myself and I’m still there. Trust me we’ll get out of it eventually but for now, just keep smiling, show the world that no matter what, you will always smile. Even if you feel the pain, the burn in your heart, you just have to keep on smiling. It’s our best cover. That’s all I wanted to say and if you’re still reading, I recommend you to hear battle scars, it’s a good song.

When i had anxiety id constantly get anxiety attacks and struggled so much with my self esteem,my social skills i had been at one of my lowest points of my life and no body knew. One thing that I don’t want to contrast with my message, I don’t know you, so I don’t know if you have depression, but if you don’t, could you make a little bit of an active effort to not say depressed even when you are incredibly sad. Depression is a serious mental disorder that me and many many others struggle with, and someone else saying that they’re depressed when they’re just sad can be triggering for a good amount of us. I just found this song and I’m crying. I lost my baby sister in 2019 and I haven’t picked up the pieces. Everyone seems so happy without her and I can’t spend a waking moment without seeing all of the things I could’ve taught her or the love we could’ve shared. My one friend that was there for me is gone now in the military and I just don’t know what to do.

The day after my suicide, I loved my mother even more, when I saw her crying on the floor of my room, hugging my clothes with my photos scattered around her, I saw so much love past the tears in her eyes.
The day after my suicide, I felt how much my father loved me, no matter how hard it was, in the midst of so much sadness, he spoke to me with tears in his eyes about how proud he was of me and how much he loved me.
The day after my suicide, I saw Tumble (my furry best friend) was more incredible than I could imagine. Everytime someone came home, he would run to the door excited to see me, and seeing that it was not me, would lay down in front of the door and continue waiting for me.
The day after my suicide, I felt the love of my sister when I saw her sitting in her room with eyes full of tears. She remembered the times we played, talked and argued together in our beautiful childhood. Treasured moments.
The day after my suicide, I felt how important I was to my best friends. They were looking at all our pictures together...remembering the laughs we shared.
The day after my suicide, I felt the sorrow in my teachers. They blamed themselves for not noticing.
At night I went to the morgue to look for myself and said: "So many dreams we had", "So many loved ones", "So many people to meet", "You had so many people that loved you, yet you threw it all away?", "You have to have a lot of courage to take your life. Why didn't you use that courage to win?"
Thank goodness that was just a vision.
Remember: You are still here and can change your life forever. You are better than you think you are. Prettier, smarter and stronger.
